Theoretically, there is the possibility of "superstition" without scientific literacy. Even some people engaged in scientific work, if they have no scientific literacy, will have some superstitions (such as superstitious witch doctors, Yijing, geomantic omen and fortune telling). The opposite of superstition is the scientific method. Science is a dynamic, open and reliable method, allowing self-falsification (science is not any scientific theory);

Pay attention to formal logic and evidence. Superstition is unconditional acceptance, no doubt, no formal logic, no reliable evidence and blind belief. Superstition in science is just like superstition in mathematics-people in the future can say that people today are superstitious about backward mathematical theories (such as plane geometry), but they can't say that they are superstitious about mathematics, because mathematics is the method.
