Tang Dynasty: Bai Juyi

Blue Bridge Chun Xue Jun returns to Japan, Qinling Autumn Wind I go.

Chun Xue at the Blue Bridge Post Station fluttered on the day you returned, and the autumn wind rustled on the Qinling Mountains. When I left.

Translation:

Always hold the pavilion as high as the sky, and climb it as if it were close to the sun. Looking down on a sunny day, the tree of ten thousand wells and the smoke of the five tombs are confusing and moving.

Leaning against the railing, looking at the low Qinling Mountains; Standing at the window, looking at the little Weihe River. I have long known that Buddhism is about purity, and I hope to worship Buddha statues often.

A letter is typed in the sky, and eight thousand in Chaozhou Road in the evening. If you want to eliminate disasters for the wise, you are willing to decline and cherish the old!

Where is the home of Yunheng Qinling? The heavy snow hindered the horse's progress. Knowing that you came all the way, you should have done it on purpose so that I could collect the bones by the river.

Translation:

In the morning, I gave an admonition to the emperor, and in the evening I was banished to Chaozhou, which is far away. If you want to get rid of harmful things for the emperor, you can't spare the rest of your life because of aging.

Looking back at Chang 'an, I can only see Zhong Nanshan separated by clouds. Where is home? Suddenly, the blue pass was blocked by heavy snow, and even the horse hesitated. I know you've come a long way, and you should know that I'm unlucky here. I just collected my bones by the miasma-filled river in Chaozhou.

In the 10th year of Yuanhe (8 15), Yuan Zhen was recalled from Tang Zhou to Beijing, passed by Lanqiao Post Station and left a seven-character poem on the wall of the post station. Eight months later, Bai Juyi was demoted from Chang 'an to Jiangzhou, full of depression. After passing through here, he read this metrical poem by Yuan Zhen. Bai Juyi wrote this quatrain "Blue Bridge Post See Nine Poems of Yuan Dynasty" with emotion.
