5. 17 Confucius said, "Yan Shan makes friends with others, but he respects them for a long time."

Confucius said: Yan is very good at communicating with others. The longer she takes, the more she will be respected by others.

Yan: Yan Ying, an important minister of the State of Qi, served in three dynasties, namely, Zhuang Gong and Gong Jing, and assisted the government for more than 50 years. He recorded many deeds in other pre-Qin classics. Some idioms, such as "Answer like a stream", "bring disgrace to oneself", "Orange in the south and orange in the north" and "Two peaches kill three scholars", are all related to him.

5. 18 Confucius said, "Zang Wenzhong lives in Cai. How do you know the algae in the mountains? "

Confucius said: Zang Wenzhong built a big house in Cai to raise a turtle, and the beams were carved with landscape flowers. How can he be said to be a wise man?

Zang Wenzhong: Zang posthumous title, a doctor of the State of Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period, was an old minister in the four dynasties of Zhuang, Gong and Wen, and an ancestor of Confucius. Zangjia is a noble family, second only to Sanhuan. Zang Wenzhong was a minister of rural construction with great political talent in the history of Lu, and was regarded as "Wen" by the monarch posthumous title after his death.

Gathering wealth: it means "gathering wealth", which means building a residence for turtles in colorful land. This place in Gucai is famous for turtles, which are very precious, because according to the ancients, the shells of turtles are the most effective for divination, but only the Emperor of Heaven can do it.

Nodular algae: it is to carve the bucket arch into the shape of a mountain and draw aquatic plants on the beams and columns of the house. This is also a unique decoration in the emperor's temple.

Generally speaking, this chapter is Confucius' view that Tibetan has exceeded the proper specifications of monarch and minister, which is why "How do you know?"
