The story of Nu Wa (Don't let the goddess fill the sky and Nu Wa make man)

Kang Hui is a strange man who appeared in Jizhou. He was born with a bronze head and a red-haired snake. He is a demon king who came from heaven to fight the people. History books also call him * * * Gong. People in his country are very familiar with water and always attack with water when fighting with others. Nu Wa made some investigations in Kang Hui with her 70 kinds of changes. After coming back, she asked many people to prepare 20,000 stones of different sizes, which were divided into five kinds, each marked with blue, yellow, red, black and white. He also ordered to prepare 100 long and short logs and 20 longest logs. On each log, Nu Wa personally carved it into the shape of an anchovy. Nu Wa's wife asked people to divide 500,000 loads of reeds into two parts, set fire to them and turn them into ashes. She also asked people to dig out the soil and mix it with grass ash. Everyone takes a load and puts it where there is water. Nu Wa's wife showed her magical powers in the back, only to see that all the water that Kang reinjected was poured in. When Kang Hui was defeated for the first time, he led his men to kill him directly. His subordinates are fierce, but this time they have suffered losses and become more arrogant. At this time, thousands of clay figurines made by Nu Wa's family have grown up, the big one is five feet high and the small one is three feet high, armed with weapons and facing the enemy. When did the ministries in Kang Hui see this kind of war, they panicked and lost money? Nu Wa immediately ordered the 1,000 people who practiced swimming: "Kang Hui must choose a dangerous place to guard this retreat. He had to hide in Zenei and his hometown, Zhao Yu Daze, where he built a levee to prevent him from being flooded. As soon as you meet a lake with a levee, use the wood I prepared for you and hit the ground around the lake with four long sticks. I'm also the best, and I'm good at carrying loads. I have gone to the sea to discuss with Poseidon and temporarily borrowed four legs of several turtle fish, so the wood is engraved with not only the shape of the turtle fish, but also its spirit. " Hearing this, these people went happily. Nu Wa's family brought two thousand mountain runners, as well as restored clay dolls, stones and other things, running all the way. On the mainland, Ze and osawa completely defeated Kang Hui. When Kang Hui escaped, he met those two thousand people. They practiced long-distance running, but they were captured alive. The Ministry arrested Kang Hui and dedicated it to Nu Wa's family. Nu Wa's family described his crime in detail, ordered beheading, clicked a knife, and no blood came out, but a black gas rose into the air. It turned out that Kang Hui also had some magical powers, and turned into a black dragon and escaped. Finally, in Buzhoushan, there was another battle with the Rongrui family under Nuwa. Kang Hui failed and died without touching his head.

Nu Wa (pinyin: nǐwā), an ancient god in China, is Fuxi's sister, surnamed Feng. At first, people were made of clay, which created human society and established the marriage system. Then the world collapsed, so the colored stones were melted to fill the sky, and the turtles were cut to support the sky.

The descriptions of Fuxi Nuwa in China's ancient books are mostly recorded by the later literati after a long period of oral communication by the Han people. Therefore, there are many oddities, repetitions and difficulties in some contents; There are also some contents that are obviously fictional, dreamy and wrong. However, these ancient China Genesis myths and legends are by no means completely absurd and illusory lies. In fact, it is these myths and legends that contain the profound understanding and simple expression of the Han people's own creation history. The description of the legend of Fuxi Nuwa in China's ancient books is rather messy. According to "Shiben Xidi Pian", "Taihao Fuxi's home", so the Han people have long clearly thought that Fuxi is the Fuxi family in Tai Hao. In China's ancient books, Tai Hao was also recorded as "Dahao", "Dabi" and "Taibi". Fuxi can also be recorded as Bao, Dong, Bu Xi, Fu, Mi, Bao and Fu. It is worth mentioning that many of Fuxi's deeds are related to Nu Wa. For example, it is recorded in Volume 8 of Du Guangting's "Records of Different Scenes" in the Five Dynasties: "If it is not the city of Tai Hao, there is Fuxi in Dongguan to lie in the temple." According to this record, we can know that around the end of the Tang Dynasty, the legend of Fuxi and Nuwa's brother and sister getting married and having children has been widely circulated in China.

There are different opinions about the legend of Nuwa, some say before Pangu, and some say after Pangu. According to folklore, different nationalities have different names, such as Nuo Gong Nuo Niang, Xiong Jing Jing Mei, Noah Nova, Noah's brother and sister, Dongshan South America, Jiang Lang Jiang Mei, etc.

Legend has it that the first human beings were flooded, leaving only Fuxi brothers and sisters, and later people were descendants of Fuxi brothers and sisters.

This legend is systematic. Fuxi's brother and sister's mother gave birth to them 12 brother and sister, Wang Long, Wang She, Wang Lei, Hou Yi (queen ant), Wang Su (probably from Wang Sui Sui Sui), Nuo brother and Nuo sister (and the legend is Nuo brother and sister). 12 brother and sister argue endlessly, among which the youngest Wang Su is the cleverest. He climbed the mountain that day, and as a result, Wang Su drilled wood for fire and burned the mountain. Mother is in a hurry. She reminded me at the foot of the mountain that Wang lung was in the water, and the snake king had drilled a hole, so Chloe Wang had no place to hide. As a result, he was burned. Chloe Wang had a bad temper and wanted to get back at Wang Su, but Wang Su cleverly avoided him every time. Mother was ill and said that only Wang Lei's meat could cure her illness. Chloe Wang didn't want to, of course, but he still wanted to get back at Wang Su. Finally, he was trapped by Wang Su and locked up. Nogo went to farm that day, and no one else was there. Only my kind sister takes care of Wang Lei. Chloe Wang lied that he was dying of thirst, and asked his sister for water to drink. Her sister relented and gave him a bowl of porridge. Chloe Wang said it would be better if there was a bowl of water, so Sister Nuo gave him a bowl of water. After Wang Leigang finished drinking, Lei Guang made a masterpiece, broke the cage and came out. He pulled out a tooth and gave it to Nuo's sister as a reward, saying that he would plant it when the sky opened. Thunder rumbled, the sky opened, and Raytheon's teeth didn't respond. Later, Nogo planted it in all directions in sequence (the corresponding attribute of gossip may be related to farming), and finally a huge gourd (ancient sound, servant, Fu You gourd worship) grew. Tianhe was upside down, and then a woodpecker flew in, hollowed out the gourd and got in. The gourd rose with the water, and many animals were harvested during this period. Looking up at the sky, I found Wang Lei. Wang Lei was asked to accept the flood, but Wang Lei wouldn't listen. Then there was a fight. Chloe Wang was afraid, and then he agreed to accept the flood. Nogo said, are you going to collect floods to kill us right away? No way, Chloe Wang had to attract 10 suns to dry the flood, but when the water dried up, it fell into drought and everyone died. Duke Nuo invited Houyi (the queen ant), who flew up to the hibiscus tree (the legendary sacred tree connecting man and god) and shot down the sun with his tail needle. Duke Nuo felt that there would be no light without the sun, so he asked Hou Yi to leave two at the bottom, one during the day and one at night, and the hibiscus tree also stayed.

There is also a passage in which my brother and sister divined three times (connected with the ancient sound of the servant, or perhaps left by Fuxi), and my brother and sister got married. The roller rolls in two directions at the top of Buzhoushan Mountain, and the roller collides at the foot of the mountain. Fire on both sides, smoke in the sky; As a result, my sister was shy, so I said that if you catch up with me, I will marry you. I will run around the mountain, with my sister running in front and my brother chasing after me. Then someone looked worried, and the earth god came out and said to him, why don't you turn around and run there? Finally, meet your sister. .. my sister is married, shy, and covers her face with a fan. Nogo's image is flushed and his eyes are protruding. Legend has it that he was sunburned 10 suns. Sister Nuo is very clever and covers her face with a handkerchief, so she is still white. Nu Wa is the god of marriage and fertility. This is why Chinese wedding customs use bead curtains or hijab. There is also a rule that clans can't get married, which may have been made when Nu Wa was in power.

This legend may contain two legends about Nuwa, one is the mother of 12 brother and sister, and the other is the married Nuwa who gave birth to children.

Nu Wa's Funeral

According to Shan Hai Jing, after Nu Wa's death, her intestines turned into ten gods, and she went to the wild places in the West to guard her. Some people think that the moral is that Nu Wa's body was swallowed after her death, and people in primitive tribes feel safe after eating respected people in their ancestors or clans. According to legend, Nu Wa was buried in Xihua County, Zhoukou City, Henan Province. Therefore, Xihua County is also called Washi. Legend has it that the soul of Nu Wa later ascended to heaven, and went down to the Heavenly Palace under the protection of the ever-changing beasts and Tengshe, and became a god.
