1, car experience:

Public transportation in North America is underdeveloped, and basically every family has a car. Suffering from the cold winter in Canada, it is inconvenient to have no car. It was too much trouble to go to class and go out to buy things by bus, so I applied for a lease from home and bought a GLA45 (because the school visa was not enough to take a long-distance bus). I was very excited when I picked up the car, and it just snowed. On the day I picked up the car, I chased another car directly because I didn't stop. Fortunately, the chased car only scratched a little paint, and the owner was better, so I didn't have any trouble. My car's net and Mercedes-Benz logo were broken, and the back was repaired by almost 1500 Canadian dollars.

Here, I'd like to remind you not to put your feet on the accelerator when you try the performance car for the first time in snowy days. Because the lease expired, this car was returned to the 4S shop just after half a year, and it was still a little nostalgic when it was returned. After all, the first car I drove was a small steel gun. Personally, I felt that the exhaust was really loud (louder than the C63 with eight cylinders). 2. Why G20? M340i?

Influenced by my father (the fifth-generation 7-series car owner), I grew up listening to the phrase "driving a BMW by Mercedes-Benz", so I have always had a soft spot for BMW's handling. I got on the bus with Mercedes-Benz, but I was a little concerned about the frustration of Mercedes-Benz gearbox, so I passed this time. I also saw many Japanese cars, from New Camry, finidi Q50S to lexus es, but the interior was not satisfied. I also considered the Audi S4, as mentioned earlier, but I didn't get the commission for some reasons. I have also considered the old M340, but I think the interior is too rough. Because I have a soft spot for LCD instrument panel, I personally feel that the interior of the new 3 Series has been greatly improved, so I decided to choose G20? M340i .

3, car booking process:

After returning GLA45 to the 4S store, I have been looking for the source of M340i and comparing the prices. I started to make an appointment with a salesperson in China to discuss this issue and test drive the M340i. Later, due to the test drive of M340i? The demonstration car was sold, so I only tested 330i. Obviously, when I downshifted from the 40km/h brake, the 330i felt even more frustrated. I tried it several times on purpose, and so did it. I didn't book a car from him because the price was too high (compared with other places I was looking for) and it was a medium match.

After that, I contacted a China salesman in Toronto, and the price was the lowest among the quotations given to me at that time, so I decided to book a car from him. Besides the customized merino sheepskin, I ordered a fully equipped car. But later, because the school has not replied to the audit documents required by the 4S shop, the car I ordered was taken away by others, and later I was reassigned fewer cars than the first one. Suspension and crawler bag (the cooling system is better, the front brake disc is enlarged, and PS4S or above performance tires are standard).

It was Friday, my girlfriend and I carpooled to Toronto, and I went to pick up the car immediately after school. Luckily, I saw Little Blue before I got off work in the 4S shop. When I signed the contract, gave a check and sold me the key, I couldn't wait to drive TA away directly. As a result, I was told to drive the car into the elevator first and transport it to the second floor by elevator. I remember asking the salesman, "Can I drive by myself?" 4. Appearance:

The main reason why I didn't choose black is that I think black is too common, and I want a different feeling. When I finished lifting the car and wanted to modify it, I found that what carbon fiber was used to modify the blue was not very good-looking, and I regretted not choosing black. I have to say that BMW is stingy. After all, it's all m? Performance models, there is no carbon fiber decoration on the car, which feels a bit unreasonable.

In this way, I still bring my own small wide body.

Although the laser headlights are almost useless (I remember the salesman told me that there is no car for 300 meters before and after, and the headlights will automatically trigger without street lights), they have been successfully turned on once. However, the blue laser headlights with LED strips make the whole look more layered, and the laser headlights are really the finishing touch.

5. Indoor &; Configuration:

Personally, the interior of G20/28th generation has been greatly improved, especially the newly adopted chrome plating, which makes the whole vehicle no longer full of plastic feeling (compared with the old model), but the inner handle frame and glass lifting panel are still plastic (chrome plated in China). Moreover, the advantage of girlfriend's spitting without GLA45 is that the co-pilot has no seat memory function (it seems that domestic 3 series pictures have this function).

When running at high speed, ACC plays a great role, because I am lazy and don't want to step on the accelerator and brake all the time, so basically I will drive ACC when running at high speed. If friends who often run at high speed personally suggest that you can choose this configuration.

6. Power:

I sometimes get impatient when driving, especially when someone occupies the left lane (usually the left lane will drive faster than the speed limit 10- 15km/h), but when driving slowly, I will especially want to overtake. The power in comfort mode is also very easy, so I don't have to worry about turbine delay, so that my overtaking can be easily completed. At the same time, we have to say that the 0- 100km/h of M340i is optimized very well. When the traffic lights are oiled on the floor, many cars with high horsepower and torque are not as fast as me (driving safety first, don't overspeed). 382 horsepower is enough for a daily car.

7. Driving experience:

Relatively speaking, the GLA45 will have a smaller roll when cornering at high speed. After all, the body is much shorter, but the gearbox of GLA45 can't give me the smooth and on-call feeling of ZF. In the case of rapid acceleration, GLA45 has the feeling of making you wait for a while and suddenly jumping out and being kicked. M340i, on the other hand, is relatively linear and slowly reaches its peak.

It snows almost four or five months a year in Ontario, so the blessing of four-wheel drive is very important. Compared with Matic, I personally feel that xDrive will play a greater role. When the car starts to float a little, xDrive basically shakes it back. Ma Diqi had to dump his ass two or three times to get back to normal.

Compared with GLA45, M340i has much better comfort and softer suspension, especially some potholes and speed bumps on the road. Because a lot of sound insulation materials are added, the noise control is much better, especially when running at high speed.

The blue M calipers are very attractive.

8. Space:

There are only occasional people in my back row, so the back row space is enough for me. When I adjust the main driver's seat properly (my height is 182cm), the rear passenger of the main driver still has a leg distance of about three fingers. In addition, there is a concave place in the backrest of the main driver's seat, which should be to make the knees of the rear passengers a little more comfortable. My girlfriend said that she prefers the back row to the front row, because the back row is more spacious and can exercise her legs, and there is seat heating in the back row (necessary in winter).

Storage space is worth spitting. First of all, there is no special place to put sunglasses, and they need to be placed in places like the armrest box or the water cup holder of the door. Secondly, the storage box of the co-pilot is not big enough. If you put paper towels, you need to press them very flat before you put them in. A new box of paper towels can't be put in. These two improvements will make passengers have a better experience.

The original factory standard 19 inch tire, but after changing the snow tire, I reduced it to 18 inch to prevent bulging.

9. Fuel consumption:

When returning the GLA45 car, the comprehensive fuel consumption is about 13.5L/ 100km (after driving for almost a while). At present, the average fuel consumption of M340i is 12.3L/ 100km (driving occasionally), but driving M340i will be more intense. Fortunately, Michelin PS4S tires are standard, not explosion-proof tires, so the fuel consumption will be lower. When cruising at a high speed of 130km/h, the comfort mode is about 1800 rpm, almost 7-8L/ 100km, and the fuel consumption and noise are well controlled.

The fuel consumption is quite satisfactory.

10, disadvantages:

1, I occasionally drive violently, and sometimes when cornering at high speed, the feeling of car body tilting is obvious, especially when cornering at 30-40km/h, the car body feels a little uncontrollable. Perhaps the mobility of this generation of 3-series chassis has declined, or maybe I put the M? Expressed as m? Power-driven, a little overestimating the potential of TA, haha.

2. Optional configuration is not as rich and flexible as Mercedes-Benz. There is no carbon fiber in the whole vehicle (maybe a little on the engine). The configuration should provide carbon fiber surround and seat ventilation for users to choose.

3. The front 225 and rear 255 tires as standard by the original factory are a little thin, and the grip will be a little insufficient. If possible, you'd better change the tires to wider ones.

4, the steering wheel paddle, because when driving, I will use the paddle to shift gears. Although there is a metal coating on it, it is still plastic, and its feel is not as good as that of metal. This is a pity for people who pay more attention to the paddle handle.

5. Some common minor faults, such as overheating of the range hood once or twice; Bluetooth can't connect normally for almost a week (neither Android nor iOS can); BMW's interconnected driving status is not updated (one or two are not updated and cannot be started remotely); The key is often not sensed, which leads to the need to press the key by hand to open the car door. I can't get in without the key (maybe it's related to my clothes being too thick? )。

I have used the car for almost half a year now. Compared with the car at that time, the heat dropped a lot, but after all, it was my first real car (GLA45 was used by others), so I still liked it very much. Because we haven't reached the kilometers of the first insurance (7000 kilometers short), we can't share the maintenance feelings yet. On the whole, I'm satisfied with M340i, except for some minor habits. And compared with other colors, blue is more eye-catching. After all, the comfort of the standard axis is still a little worse than that of Li.

Finally, I guess if M340i is introduced into China, the starting price should be around 500,000-550,000, so friends who are interested in M340i should try to save money!
