Introduction of Tancheng Maling Mountain Scenic Area

Malingshan Scenic Area is located in the southwest of xinyi city 10 km, with a planned area of 28.9 square kilometers. It consists of five hills: Fengshan, Doushan, Hushan, Grandma Mountain and Daylily Ridge. Locals call it "Five Sisters Mountain". Wuhua Peak is the main peak, with an altitude of 91.8m. Although the mountain is not high, it is beautiful with criss-crossing ravines and overlapping mountains. Since ancient times, it has been known as "the victory of Huaibei" and "the beauty of the shape is called Jianghuai". The green coverage rate of the scenic spot is 95.2%, and the environmental quality of air, noise and surface water in the scenic spot meets or exceeds the national standards, which is affectionately praised as "natural oxygen bar" by tourists. Emperor Qianlong visited the south of the Yangtze River six times in the Qing Dynasty, and was lucky for this mountain. He left a poem "Zhong Wu was only a fist stone when he went on the road, with some beautiful scenery", which vividly praised the beauty of Maling Mountain, known as the "first mountain", and named it because of its shape and galloping horses. Tancheng Malingshan Scenic Area starts from Duanzhai Village, Yolanda Township, Tancheng County in the north and ends at Suntang Village, Honghuabu Town in the south. It spans 56 kilometers from the north to the south of Maling Mountain System, with an area of 186 square kilometers, covering 30 administrative villages and 2,000 administrative villages in 4 towns (streets) of Yolanda Township, Tancheng Town, Gaofengtou Town and Honghuabu Town in Tancheng County.
