What kinds of pencils are there and what are their functions?

Graphite pencils are classified into 6B, 5B, 4B, 3B, 2B, b, HB, f, h, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, 6H, 7H, 8H, 9H and 10H according to hardness. The standard writing pencil is HB, and the filling pen of the card reader is 2B.

Soft pencil lead is loose, leaving shallow marks on paper, which is easy to modify, while hard pencil is suitable for depicting depth details. 6B to 2H are pencil models commonly used in sketch, and 4B or 5B pencils are usually suitable for dark tone painting. 6B pencil is dark in color, but the particles are too thick, which is not in harmony with other pencils, so it is not commonly used. HB is hard, suitable for middle tones, and 2H or 4H is light, suitable for depicting in light.

Pencil manufacturing

Pencil is divided into two parts: cap and barrel;

1, the external decorative material of pencil cap is mainly polyester material, and the manufacturing process can be divided into molding, offset printing, assembly and other processes.

2. The main decorative materials of pencil rod are nitrocellulose lacquer, ink, electrochemical aluminum foil, rubber head and aluminum hoop. The manufacturing process can be divided into pencil board, lead core, pencil rod, finished product decoration and other processes.
