Longzhou Martyrs Cemetery is located in Nongpingtun, Nongping Village, Shanglong Township, north of Longzhou County, 5 kilometers away from the county seat. The cemetery was built in March 1979, and the martyrs who died in the counterattack against Vietnam were buried. Formerly known as "Self-Good Martyrs Cemetery". 1July, 988, according to the instructions of the people's government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the tombs of martyrs who died in the self-defense counterattack against Vietnam in Longzhou border town and other martyrs scattered in the county town were moved here for centralized burial. After the expansion, it was renamed "Longzhou" in 2008, and in 20 10, the state allocated 265,438+million yuan, 500,000 yuan and 6.8 million yuan respectively to harden the ground, afforest, build walls, build showrooms and comprehensively transform the martyrs' tombstones.
