Everyone in Journey to the West has seen it. In fact, it is difficult for Buddhists to become Bodhisattvas, because Bodhisattvas are considered to be the four most famous Buddhists: Guanyin, Manjusri, Pu Xian and Earth Treasure King. They are the main force of Buddhism and are deeply trusted by the Tathagata. Although they are only one step away from the Buddha, their noble status should not be underestimated.

On the other hand, Zhu Bajie, who used to be a marshal of the celestial canopy, is in a high position, but he is actually a little confused. He just molested Chang 'e and made a small mistake that only men make, but the jade emperor personally hit him with 2000 hammers, which was really a bit excessive. As the saying goes, impermanence is a demon. The more the Jade Emperor punishes Pig Bajie in this way, the more the three world leaders, including Tathagata Buddha, will think that Pig Bajie's descent into the world is tricky.

I'm afraid the Tathagata will think so: Pig Bajie is a powerful figure in heaven. There is something fishy about his sudden joining the Buddhist scriptures team. Of course, this is just a doubt, and he is not sure. Therefore, the Tathagata entrusted the task of identifying Buddhist scriptures to Guanyin Bodhisattva, but told him the admission criteria: you must persuade him to study hard, be a disciple of Buddhist scriptures, and be a magical demon.

In fact, this kind of advice from the Tathagata is very useful. Through this, members who can control Buddhist scriptures can be used by Buddhism. Even if Pig Bajie can join the team, he won't dare to play any tricks. Originally, the old pig's head must be wrapped in a circle like a monkey. But how clever the old pig is. When he first met Guanyin Bodhisattva after he came to earth, he did two things.

Zhu Bajie

These things are actually very private. When Pig Bajie met Guanyin Bodhisattva for the first time, he was able to tell all his experiences, including personal matters. It can be seen that he is still honest and devout. With these words, Guanyin Bodhisattva must be embarrassed to put a hoop on her head.

It can be said that what Zhu Bajie did when he first met the Bodhisattva was enough to prove that he sincerely converted to Buddhism this time, so at the conferring ceremony, the Tathagata gave him the position of the Bodhisattva.
