Where is Suizhou and in which province?

Suizhou is a city located in the middle of China, which belongs to Hubei Province and is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hubei Province.

Suizhou is located in the middle of Jianghan Plain, bordering Wuhan in the north, Jingzhou in the south, Huanggang in the east and Xianning in the west, with a total area of 7,545 square kilometers. Historically, Suizhou was once a part of Chu territory. With the development of history, Suizhou has successively belonged to jiangling county, Xiangyang and Zaoyang counties. During the Tang Dynasty, Suizhou was placed under the jurisdiction of Xiangyang (Yiyang Army) in Jiangling Road and was renamed many times. Finally, it was determined as 1998 Suizhou city.
