What kind of bug is a white bug?

White, very small, less than 1 mm, insects like dust and powder are acaroid mites, and the methods to eliminate acaroid mites:

1. Put the food seriously disturbed by acaroid mites into plastic garbage bags and throw it into the trash can outside the house.

2. Freeze-dry food that may contain acaroid mites to kill acaroid mites.

3. Take out the containers, cans or boxes containing contaminated food for disinfection.

4. Thoroughly clean the room or cupboard where the contaminated food was stored before.

Methods of preventing acaroid mites

1, keep food stored dry. Acaroid mites cannot grow in low humidity. As long as the humidity of food storage is controlled below 65% and well ventilated, acaroid mites will not breed.

Dry food left in a high humidity environment for too long may get wet and start to mold, causing another round of acaroid mites. Remember to check all the packages before taking the dry food home. Don't take dry food home or put it on wet shelves with wet and damaged packaging bags.

4. Insert laurel leaves in containers or cabinets to store food. It is said that acaroid mites, cockroaches, moths, mice, weevils and many other pests hate the smell of laurel leaves and dare not approach dry food with laurel leaves.

5. Separate pet food from other dry food. The control of pet food is not as strict as that of human food, so the probability of breeding pests is higher.
