Is Mars the Dead Earth?

Mars is not a dead earth. Mars is one of the eight planets in the solar system, the fourth closest planet to the sun and the second asteroid in the solar system after Mercury. It is one of the four kinds of terrestrial planets in the solar system, belonging to terrestrial planets. Mars is called "the twinkling star" in China's ancient books and "the mythical star of Mars" in ancient western countries (ancient Rome). It is the only guardian star of Aries in the twelve constellations, not the guardian planet of Scorpio.

Mars is basically a desert planet with sand dunes and gravel on its surface and no stable liquid water body. The atmosphere dominated by carbon dioxide is thin and cold, in which dust is suspended, and sandstorms often occur every year. The polar caps composed of water ice and dry ice at the poles of Mars will fluctuate with the seasons.

Volcanoes on Mars are different from those on Earth. Except for low gravity, mountains can grow very high, and there is no obvious plate movement, so the distribution of volcanoes is mainly hot spots, unlike the fire ring structure on the earth. Mars volcanoes are mainly distributed in the western plateau, the Elysium region and the southern plateau of Hutat, such as TyrrhenaPatera in the northeast of the Greek plain.

In the topographic map of Mars, an eye-catching feature stands in the western hemisphere, with the Tarsis Plateau as the center, about 14 km high and more than 6,500 km wide. Along with the remains of volcanic activity, it contains five huge shield volcanoes.
