What kind of scenic spot is Wild Flower Valley?

Wildflower Valley is a famous leisure resort in Xiangfan.

The Wild Flower Valley Natural Scenic Area is located 20 kilometers north of Baokang County, where the only wild Chimonanthus praecox in the Eastern Hemisphere grows. Every winter, Chimonanthus praecox is in full bloom, just like an ocean of flowers, which has been fragrant for three months. It is a rare eco-tourism resort in northwest Hubei.

1986, the country established the world's first wild Chimonanthus praecox nature reserve here. The nature reserve10km, with an area of 1057. 1 hectare, has a forest coverage rate of over 98%, with the highest elevation1207m and the lowest elevation193m. Favorable climatic conditions have given birth to abundant wildlife resources.

Among them, the wild Chimonanthus praecox is the most widely distributed, with an area of more than 800 hectares, and the pure forest is only more than 200 hectares with more than 200,000 plants. Moreover, there are many rare varieties such as Xinkou, Huangbai, Hongxin, Zirui and Sandalwood, most of which have a growth history of more than 100 years, and have high ornamental and scientific research value.

Wildflower Valley is also rich in rare plant resources in the world, such as Jinyun rhododendron, wild peony, crape myrtle and yew. Wild peony 160 hectare, 22 species of wild Lagerstroemia indica and Davidia involucrata, and dozens of national rare flower plants such as peach blossom, bluegrass, bauhinia, wild lily, pomegranate, osmanthus fragrans, rose, stone fan and pyracantha.
