How to plant velvet arrowroot

Velvet arrowroot can be divided into purple back and green back. The maximum length of pilose antler is 1.5m, the crown width is 60cm, and the general cultivation height is between 40- 100cm. This kind of flower is non-toxic and can be planted safely.

Velvet arrowroot likes warm and humid growing environment, is not resistant to low temperature and direct sunlight, belongs to negative plants and needs high humidity environment. Generally, the humidity should be kept between 75-90% and not less than 50%, otherwise the leaves are prone to yellowing, curling and scorching.

The maintenance environment can't be blown by strong wind, but it can meet the demand with a breeze, otherwise it will dehydrate quickly, leading to wilting and dead leaves.

Water should be kept moist, not dry or stagnant. Generally, the soil used for cultivation is peat soil, so the water retention capacity and drainage performance are better. But when the peat soil is dry, it is not easy to water it.

Fertilization should choose water-soluble fertilizer instead of general chemical fertilizer, because the concentration is too high for Ge Fen to absorb, which is easy to cause fertilizer damage. Even fully water-soluble fertilizers should not be used too much, and the principle of applying thin fertilizers frequently should be adhered to.

It is best to spray fungicides once a month to prevent diseases during maintenance. Dust on leaves should be wiped with soft cloth or washed with water in time, which can prevent many diseases. Washing can also increase the humidity of the environment, killing two birds with one stone. Be careful not to spray water after afternoon, otherwise there will be water on the leaves at night, which is easy to get sick.
