Architectural description of the concept of true feelings

Zhenqing Temple consists of Qian Dian, Weizi Hall and Laojun Hall. All three halls face south and are built on the same axis from south to north. On both sides of the central axis are east-west corridors connecting Qian Dian and the Temple of Wei Zi. Weizitang is a three-room civil structure building, with a single eaves resting on the top of the mountain, covering an area of 320 square meters. The whole building retains the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty, and the hall is dedicated to Emperor Wei Zi (Wei Zi means the sun). Behind the Wei Zi Hall is the Laojun Hall (the east and west wing rooms with symmetrical sides). Due to many repairs in history, the architectural style of the Yuan Dynasty is still preserved, and the hall is dedicated to the old gentleman. The old gentleman on the memorial is Lao Zi, surnamed Li Minger.

Lao Dan was a thinker in the Spring and Autumn Period and the founder of the Taoist school. On the east side of Weizi Hall of Zhenqing Temple is Dulei House, which was built in the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. Under the main ridge, it is engraved with "Rebuilding the abbot of the official gentry in Jidan Huicheng in June" (that is, AD 1873). The gate is single-eaved, with sloping corners and supported by a bucket arch. There are woodcut couplets on both sides of the gate.

A pair: "May heaven always give birth to good people and people always do good deeds". On the front of the lintel is the title "Dulei House" and on the back is the title "Divine Wind through the ages". There is a pavilion in the gate, commonly known as "Qingfeng Pavilion". On the spine of the book is "Ji Dan believers stood on June 16th, the 21st year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty" (A.D. 18 16). There is a beautiful carved dragon algae well above the pavilion. Behind the pavilion is Leigong Temple. The whole building is a civil structure, with a single eaves resting on the top of the mountain. There are carved stone fences and a pair of stone lions on the veranda of the main hall. Durev's ancient buildings retain the characteristics of French architecture in the early Qing Dynasty and exquisite local genre paintings.

Dulei Building is an affiliated building of Zhenqing Temple, dedicated to Thor. Raytheon, also known as Lei Gong, is the Raytheon in ancient mythology. Shan Hai Jing Hai Zhong Dong Jing said: "Lei Ze has a thunder tree, with dragon ears in his head and drums his clothes." Taoism believes that Raytheon is "the master of heavenly disaster, the balance of all things, the palm of all things, the division of life and the division of killing", which is called "Lei Pufo".

The ancient building in the north of Durev Hall is a fire temple dedicated to Vulcan. Yanlong Temple was built in the seventh year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 188 1). It was built by salt merchants in Yunnan in the late Qing Dynasty, and salt merchants in the Republic of China were also located here. Yanlong

The temple is located in the north of Dulei House, facing south, and consists of a theater, a front hall, east and west wings of the front hall, a main hall, east and west wings of the main hall and an ear room. The architecture of Yanlong Temple well preserved the architectural features of the area at that time. All the building components were exquisitely carved and painted with gold on the eaves. The exquisite local style paintings were well preserved, especially the theater, which was of high value.

The value of Zhenqingguan ancient buildings exceeds that of a single ancient building. As an independent geographical and cultural unit, it has brought a certain sense of historical vicissitudes to the urban landscape of Kunming, showing rich changes of the times. It is a great supplement and embodiment to the image of a famous historical and cultural city in Kunming, and it is one of the landmark buildings of a famous historical and cultural city in Kunming. In order to better display the features of historical and cultural cities, improve the level of urban tourism environment and make the urban landscape reach a higher level, the Kunming Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government decided to restore the ancient buildings of Zhenqing Pavilion and build a Zhenqing Cultural Square integrating culture, architecture, greening, tourism and leisure. The construction of Zhenqing Cultural Square is a landmark project for Kunming to protect a national historical and cultural city. It is the basic project for Kunming to build a big province of ethnic culture and a strong province of tourism economy, and it is also the popular project for Kunming to improve the living conditions of residents in Zhenqingguan area. It was listed as the key construction project of provinces and cities from 200/KLOC-0 to 2002. At the same time, the construction of Zhenqing Cultural Square will also play a positive role in highlighting the position of Panlong District as a commercial center and promoting the prosperity of regional economy and the development of tourism.

In order to fully reflect the original historical features of the ancient buildings in Zhenqing Cultural Square, this restoration project strictly follows the principle of "repairing the old as the old", which not only maintains the original historical features of the restored ancient buildings, but also ensures that the restored ancient buildings have the necessary safety indicators to ensure that the restored ancient buildings can be used as places for people's culture, leisure, entertainment and sightseeing. The restored ancient buildings cover an area of about 4,800 square meters and garden buildings cover 9,000 square meters. According to the original geographical location and historical and cultural connotation of the ancient building, it was restored to three courtyard scenic spots for easy management:

(1) Zhenqing Temple takes Weizitang as the core and combines the east and west wings of Laojuntang to form the first courtyard of Zhenqing Cultural Square (the courtyard is expected to need 10- 12 couplets);

(2) The second courtyard of Zhenqing Cultural Square is composed of Leigong Temple as the core, gatehouse, Qingfeng Pavilion, Fire Temple and corresponding wing (the courtyard is expected to need 6-8 couplets);

(3) With the main hall as the core, Yanlong Temple combines the front hall, the stage and the north and south wings to form the third courtyard of Zhenqing Cultural Square (it is estimated that this courtyard needs 8- 10 couplets).

In order to fully display the ancient buildings, the newly-built cultural square will not add other new buildings except the original ancient buildings, collapsed ancient buildings and necessary public health facilities. There is an open green garden in the square, which extends the square and blends it into the ancient buildings, so that the landscaping can be coordinated with the ancient buildings. Lagerstroemia indica is planted in the front yard of Wei Zi Temple, Osmanthus fragrans is planted in the front yard of Laojun Temple, Camellia is mainly planted in the front yard of Yanlong Temple Hall, the courtyard of Duleifu and the north side of Tuodong Road south of Duleifu, and three ancient wells are reserved in the courtyard, forming a distinctive classical architectural landscape. Secondly, bamboo is planted in the open space on the south side of Jintang Lane Road in the north of Yanlong Temple Hall, and strange stones are appropriately dotted in the bamboo forest to form a characteristic bamboo forest landscape. Third, in the newly-built square north of Laojuntang and east of Baita Road, the landmark "Baita" of Baita Road will be rebuilt according to historical data, and several hundred-year-old trees such as cypress, Pistacia chinensis and Metasequoia will be planted around it, supplemented by evergreen shrubs and hard soil and iron lawns to form a new urban green belt.

In the construction of Zhenqing Cultural Square, the supporting parking lot, water supply and drainage, lighting electricity and fire pipes will be handled and improved together to provide cultural entertainment, tourism and leisure places for the masses, facilitate management and make full use of the value of ancient buildings.

Upon completion, Zhenqing Cultural Square will be based on the protection of cultural relics and the effective use of cultural relics space, fully displaying the connotation and features of Kunming's famous historical and cultural city, making it a boutique tourist attraction and cultural landscape integrating tourism, characteristic cultural industries, gardens and public entertainment, and adding a bright spot to Kunming, a famous historical and cultural city.
