General situation of villages and towns in Xingjie town

Xingjie Town is located in the southwest of Xichou County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The town party committee and government are located on the banks of the Chouyang River, 29 kilometers away from the county seat, 27 kilometers away from Malipo county seat, 5 1 km away from Maguan county seat and 5 1 km away from Wenshan, the state capital. It is the intersection of Xichou, Malipo, Maguan and Wenshan, and it is one of the transportation centers along Mengchuan Highway. The town is adjacent to Pingzhai Township and Berlin Township in the east, Malipo County in the south and Xinmajie Township and Lianhuatang in the west. It is one of the key points in the construction of "four small towns" in Wenshan Prefecture, a "window" for Xichou County to open to the outside world, and a comprehensive economic and trade development zone in the county. The town is 18km long from east to west and 23km wide from north to south. It is called "one third", of which one third is mountainous area, one third is rock area and one third is dam area. The area around Chouyang River belongs to the dam area, which is the main rice production base and one of hybrid rice seed production bases in the county. The eastern part is mountainous and the western part is karst. The total area of the town is 26 1.9 square kilometers, * * governs 13 village committees and 247 villagers' groups, with 3 19 17 mu of cultivated land (including cultivated land 15385 mu and land17 mu). Zhou Yang flows through the village committees of Longping, Qinghe, Gomu, Xingjie, Laojie and Anle, with a warm and humid climate, with the highest elevation 1530m, the lowest elevation 1 140m, the annual average temperature 18℃ and the annual frost-free period of 320 days.
