The remake and localization of film and television dramas

Guangdong Satellite TV once had an ace drama series, which once became the ratings guarantee of Guangdong Satellite TV. Guangdong TV viewers are certainly no strangers. What I want to say is "foreign daughter-in-law local lang" Today, it is still full of jokes. Although I am not proficient in Cantonese, I like the cadence of Cantonese.

At the beginning of the year, I watched dozens of episodes. Only then did I find out that actor Tamia Liu came out of that TV series, which was very green at that time. This TV series started broadcasting at the beginning of the century, creating a record of a long broadcast time and a large number of episodes in the history of China TV. I didn't like Cantonese at first, but I began to like it after listening to Cantonese songs. Simply, I will find a Cantonese film and television drama to watch. I think of "Local Lang, Foreign Daughter-in-law", which shows the details of Cantonese more truly.

Life-oriented language can often hear the wisdom of this language. For example, if I speak Yunmeng dialect, I will speak with an authentic local accent, without any elements of Mandarin. In this way, I am correcting myself, and I can also keep my local accent well. Dialect, its charm lies in that it can express the meaning that Mandarin can't interpret, and it can be more accurate and vivid.

Hubei TV viewers must still remember the dialect sitcom "Shi Jing Family" which was popular in Shi Jing, Hubei more than ten years ago. It was a TV dinner that accompanied me as a teenager, and I didn't miss every episode. It was not until later that it was discovered that this was just a drama produced by Hunan Satellite TV and Wuhan dialect matched by Hubei Satellite TV. But it still succeeded, without destroying the structure and laughter of the whole series at all.

Hunan Satellite TV remake local lang, a foreign daughter-in-law, and bought the copyright of Guangdong Satellite TV. Hunan Taiwan was named "Family Rushing Forward", with the same characters, plots and lines. Later, I saw my daughter-in-law from other places, Local Lang, and found that the remake of Hunan TV Station was really successful. This remake is impeccable. When the Kang family in Xiguan, Guangzhou moved to Dong Tang, Changsha and became the Yan family, there was no obvious acclimatization.

But in the context of Cantonese, the jokes we can hear are more rooted in Lingnan culture. Sometimes we can't understand the jokes in American dramas. If we don't understand some elements of American culture, we won't feel the cleverness of jokes at all. The dubbing version of Wuhan dialect incorporates many elements of Wuhan dialect, which makes me mistakenly think that it is a dialect comedy rooted in Hubei.

I watched the remake of the Japanese drama Midnight Food Store in summer. For the scene, people first feel uncomfortable. It's a good idea to transplant it in China, but the series did copy the original scenes, characters, props and even lines. I can imagine myself in Wansongyuan, Hankou in midsummer, with a pot of braised prawns and two bottles of beer. That's when I came home late after working overtime. Suddenly, when the scene changed, you found me eating sausage in a Japanese izakaya, ordered a bottle of beer, and then told my friend on the other end of the phone that I was having a midnight snack in Qing Ji Street. This is too incongruous with the midnight snack scene in Wuhan.

When KFC restaurant started selling soybean milk fried dough sticks and rice set meal, it was transplanted locally. But it still hasn't changed the share and position of hamburger fried chicken, which shows that its core remains unchanged, just from a different angle. When a remake of a film and television drama only stays in the role of a porter, it is still the original.
