Fortune Telling Collection - Ziwei fortune-telling - What do you mean, "the new leaves in Fanglin urge the old leaves, and the waves before the running water beat the waves behind them"?

What do you mean, "the new leaves in Fanglin urge the old leaves, and the waves before the running water beat the waves behind them"?

It means: everything is thriving, and the new leaves of trees urge the old leaves to replace; The river is fast, and the waves in front make way for the waves behind. Yin Jun lamented the passing of two quatrains, which made me so sad that I couldn't play a short song.

There are few empty surprises in the world, but many sacrifices.

The new leaves in Fanglin urge the old leaves, and the waves before the water are the waves after.

I hate it all the time, so what if I cry at the sound of the piano.

Reciting the two quatrains you sent to mourn your dead friend made me write this short song with infinite emotion. I wonder in vain that there are fewer and fewer old friends in the world, only that there are more and more eulogies in my collection. The new leaves in the fragrant forest keep pushing the old leaves, and the front waves in the flowing water always give way to the back waves. From ancient times to the present, everyone has regrets about mourning the dead. What if they shed tears for their dead friends?

Source: Liu Yuxi's seven-character rhythmic poem "Lotte, Dun and Shu are deeply divided, because they are poems sent" in the Tang Dynasty.

The first couplet of this poem explains the reason for writing this poem; Zhuan Xu directly expressed his grief for the deceased; The poets of the Neck Union made a calm analysis of life and death and got a correct understanding. Tail couplet is a comfort to Bai Juyi. The whole poem is calm and atmospheric, with natural style and precise meter.

Creation background: This poem was written in the seventh year of Daiwa in Tang Wenzong (833), and Liu Yuxi was appointed as the secretariat of Suzhou. Yuan Zhen died in July of the fifth year of Daiwa (83 1), Cui Qun died in August of the sixth year (832) and Cui Xuanliang died in July of the seventh year (833). These three people are friends of Bai Juyi and Liu Yuxi. After three people died one after another, Bai Juyi wrote two quatrains expressing sadness to Liu Yuxi. Liu Yuxi felt the same way after reading it, so he wrote this poem as a response.

Enlightenment: What we can get from it is that metabolism is an inevitable law in nature. Only by adapting to this law and constantly learning and making progress can people be in an invincible position in a fiercely competitive society. In addition, this poem also reminds us to cherish time, grasp the present and actively face the challenges of life.
