How long does bauhinia spend in a year?

Bauhinia blooms in March or early April, and the flowering period is about half a month.

Growth habit: temperate tree species are cold-resistant. Like light, a little tolerant of shadows. I like fertile and well-drained soil and am not resistant to moisture. Strong germination and pruning resistance.

Distribution: southeastern China, northern Hebei, southern Guangdong and Guangxi, western Yunnan and Sichuan, northwestern Shaanxi and eastern Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shandong. As a common cultivated plant, it is mostly planted in gardens, houses and temple streets, and a few are born in dense forests or limestone areas.

Pruning: Bauhinia is often used as a shrub in the garden, so pruning should be strengthened from the beginning of seedling tending to form a good plant shape. After transplanting, the seedlings can be light or short, which can promote more branches, expand the nutrient area, accumulate nutrients and develop the root system. In the next spring, it can be pruned repeatedly to make it grow new branches. Choose three branches that grow well and keep them, and cut off all the others. Strengthen water and fertilizer management during the growth period and pick the remaining branches. After planting, it is necessary to pull out the redundant sprouts in time, care for the branches left over from the previous year, and do more coring treatment so as to have more secondary branches.
