Games are an important part of our kindergarten day activities. Games are also children's favorite activities. There are many kinds of games, but children are still interested in traditional games, and innovative ways of playing traditional games are also needed in today's education and teaching. Therefore, kindergartens in Wei Zi have carried out teaching and research activities on new ways of playing traditional games.

At the beginning of teaching and research activities, I watched some videos of traditional games and new ways of playing. There are mainly three series, namely hopscotch series, gateball series and stilts series. The hopscotch series includes digital forest adventure, raiders of the lost ark and self-challenge. Gateball series includes lamb playing the wolf, small bowling and watching the ball. The stilt series includes crossing the bamboo ladder to go home, iron man crossing the forest, single acrobatics and double acrobatics. Through the new interpretation of these traditional games, we seem to have returned to that carefree, innocent and happy childhood life, and these innovative ways of playing have closely linked our childlike innocence. In the second section, teachers also discussed what other traditional games can be innovated in daily activities. Everyone expressed their opinions and the discussion was very intense. They summed up more than a dozen classic traditional games, such as cat and mouse, sedan chair, fried soybeans, eagle catching chickens, cutting watermelons and so on.

Although the short teaching and research activities are over, the thinking and happiness left for us is a new starting point. We will take this teaching and research activity as an opportunity to create a healthy and happy childhood for children! I will continue to find and explore new ways to play traditional games in my spare time. And teach the children the new gameplay we learned today, and let happiness accompany them!
