A detailed introduction to Wudang Mountain tourism

Wudang Mountain is the most famous Taoist shrine in China, with a very long history and cultural heritage. It is also a religious holy place respected by the royal family in the Ming Dynasty, giving people infinite beautiful reverie and expectation. Here, I would like to share with you the ultra-detailed travel strategy of Wudang Mountain.

I don't know when you usually say. It's only spring, and it's not the most beautiful time to go to Wudang Mountain. It is normal that there are fewer people on weekdays than on ordinary holidays. In fact, many people go to Wudang Mountain every year.

In 20 17, Wudang Mountain * * * received 888 1 10,000 tourists from home and abroad, achieving a tourism income of 5.25 billion yuan, up by 16.75% and 22.09% respectively.

A total of 8.88 million tourists is not a small number, ranking among the best in the five-year scenic spots in China. In 20 17, only 3.5 million tourists visited Shaolin Temple, 3.36 million tourists visited Huangshan Mountain and 2.634 million tourists visited Huashan Mountain. In 20 17, the number of tourists in Wudang Mountain far exceeded that in the nearby Brother Scenic Area.

Matters needing attention in Wudang Mountain tourism:

1. Pay attention to address: Taoist priests should be addressed as "Taoist" and "Master" respectfully, but not as "Monk" or "Taoist" directly. Even insulting titles should not be called "auntie" or "grandma".

2. Pay attention to etiquette: The common way to greet a Taoist is to hug each other with both hands, hold it with your left hand, raise your right hand to your chest, and bow your head slightly to show respect. Do not shake hands, hug or touch the first-class etiquette of a Taoist.

3. Pay attention to your speech: When talking with Taoist priests, don't mention your age and date of birth, and don't mention marriage or obscene words, so as not to arouse their disgust.

4. Pay attention to customs: tourists should not disturb Taoist priests when they fast (eat), recite scriptures and sit still. As a Taoist, you should not answer, because Taoism has the taboo of "three noes".

5. Pay attention to manners: don't talk loudly, point and discuss, laugh at or tamper with the offerings and statues of temples, especially don't touch and point at the statues. In case of Taoist activities, you should stand silently or leave quietly.

Tickets:

Wudang Mountain ticket is 248 yuan/person, including scenic spot ticket 140 yuan, ticket 100 yuan, insurance for 3 yuan and map of 5 yuan. Tickets for Wudang Mountain can be used to visit Prince's Slope, Xiaoyao Valley, Southern Yan Palace, Qiongtai and other scenic spots, but Jinding, a must-see place in Wudang Mountain, is extra. Wudang Mountain Jinding ticket 27 yuan/person. Tickets for Zixiao Palace 15 yuan/person. Cableway prices go up to 90 yuan/person and down to 70 yuan/person.

Transportation:

If you take a bus at Wudang Mountain Railway Station, get out of Wudang Mountain Railway Station, turn at the intersection, and take bus No.203 to get off at the terminal. The bus fare is 2 yuan/person, so it is recommended to prepare the change in advance. When you get off the bus, follow the signs and cross the mountain gate, you can buy tickets for Jinjie Scenic Spot in Wudang Mountain. There are many people calling for chartered cars near Wudang Mountain Railway Station. There is no need to take a taxi.

Accommodation:

There are many hotels (slightly upscale) in Yin Jie Street at the foot of Wudang Mountain Scenic Area. Qiongtai and Southern Yan are also places with more accommodation (the price is relatively civilian). Jinding has only one hotel in Jinding VIP Building. If you want to watch the sunrise the next day and don't want to get up early to climb the mountain to Jinding, then staying in the VIP building is the best choice. It's just that the price of the VIP building is a little expensive. At that time, we lived in Jin Kang's tent room, which cost 200 yuan a night.

Tour route:

Wudang Mountain generally has two sightseeing routes:

① Take a bus to Nanyan in the tourist service center of the scenic spot, walk from Nanyan to Jinding (about 3 hours), then walk from Jinding to Qiongtai, and then return to the tourist service center by bus from Qiongtai;

Take a bus from the tourist service center to Qiongtai Pavilion, and take a cable car from Qiongtai to Jinding (about 2 hours' walk). After visiting Jinding, you can walk down the mountain to Nanyan, and then return to the gate of the scenic spot by bus from Nanyan.

It doesn't matter if you don't understand. I will give you a map when I buy the ticket, and I will understand it at a glance.

Playing skills:

Cars in the scenic spot can ride for free, and the mountain road is a bit steep. Remember to fasten your seat belt. Wudang Mountain is very big and there are many small scenic spots, which can be arranged according to personal physical strength and route.

Qionglai Pass is the location of Wudang Mountain cableway, and Taizipo is the transfer station of Wudang Mountain.

Jinding is located at the top of Tianzhu Peak, the highest peak in Wudang Mountain, and it is a must-see place in Wudang Mountain. Jinding Jin Dian is the essence and symbol of the whole Wudang Mountain architecture.

Nanyan Palace, a cliff-hanging palace, is also a must-see for Wudang Mountain. The dragon head incense in Southern Yan Palace is very interesting.

Tickets for Wudang Mountain do not include Zixiao Palace. Personally, I don't think Zixiao Palace is necessary, it depends on personal choice.

Enter Wudang Mountain Scenic Area and stay indoors for a few days, no problem. If you go out of the scenic spot, it seems that you need to add money for the second time. So if you want to visit for a few more days, I suggest living in the mountains. One is to save trouble, and the other is to watch the sunrise and sunset conveniently;

The best viewing place for sunrise and sunset in Wudang Mountain is Jinding. It was April when we went, and the sunrise time was about 5: 50; There is a big temperature difference in the mountains, so remember to bring a spare part coat; If the weather is fine during the day, it will be sunny, and girls should do a good job of sun protection;

In the process of climbing the mountain, there may be mountain pickers asking tourists for money. It doesn't matter whether they are willing to give it or not.

Crow is a symbol of good luck in Wudang Mountain.

Don't take pictures of Buddha statues in Jinding;

It is understandable that the price of scenic spots is high, and scenic spots all over the country are similar. Three cucumbers on the mountain are ten yuan, two or three tomatoes are ten yuan, and a vegetarian dish is twenty or thirty yuan.
