How did Fukuoka, Japan come from?
Before the 7th century, Fukuoka Prefecture belonged to Tsukuba and Toyohashi areas, which was the ancient name of Japan. After the end of the 7th century, Tsukuba was divided into Tsukuba and Tsukuba, collectively known as Tsukuba. Up to now, Hakata Station is divided into Hakata Exit and Tsukuba Exit. After the war in Guanyuan in the fifth year of Evergreen (1600), Kuroda was awarded the territory of the former country by Tokugawa Ieyasu for his outstanding military achievements, giving 523,000 stones to replace the famous island city of Kobayakawa Hideaki. The following year (160 1), Haruhiko Kuroda built a new castle in Fukuzaki (now downtown Fukuoka). After he first brought his former country Fukuoka Village (now Fukuoka, Kawamachi, mayor of Okayama Prefecture), he named it "Fukuoka City". But the place name of Fukuoka was originally prepared for the former country, because it means "blessed land on the hill".
