Agricultural economy in Beijiang town

Beijiang is known as the "Land of Fish and Rice" because of its fertile land and rich resources. With a solid agricultural foundation, 1960s was a red flag for scientific farming in He Lixia. With the goal of building a real "hometown of seedlings" within five years, Beijiang Town has implemented the "Ginkgo Project, Seedling Base Project and Fast-growing Forest Project". First of all, the Party committee and the government formulated the project implementation plan, organized a special leading group, and required every village and resident cadre to have a demonstration field for seedlings and flowers. Through the demonstration of party member cadres, it is ensured that every village has a base and every group has seedlings. In 2007, the town added 3,000 mu of seedlings, and within three years, it is guaranteed to add 10000 mu. Secondly, the nursery stock base of Shanghai Lulu Greening Company in Beijiang Town has been expanded from 1 village to 8 villages, from more than 20 households to more than 400 households, and from dozens of acres to the present 1.200 mu, with an investment of more than 50 million yuan. In the mode of operation, the company provides funds and farmers pay dividends in the form of land, thus establishing an industrial chain of "company+farmers+market". Third, the ginkgo project has great potential. There are 30,000 fruit trees with an annual output of 200 tons of dried products. There are fruit trees 1 0,000 mu and Italian poplars 1 0,200 mu in the town.
