Nanjing Ming tombs are open for free.

Admission to the Ming Tombs Scenic Area is free before opening (6:30) and after closing (from March to 65438+1October 18:30,165438+1October to February of the following year).

There are two best tourist times in the Ming Tombs. One is winter (February), when plum blossoms are in full bloom on Meihua Mountain, which covers an area of 1533 mu, and is known as "the best Meishan Mountain in the world". The second time was late autumn (165438+1mid-October). At this time, the Shinto of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is the most beautiful time, and the leaves of maple leaves, camphor trees and ginkgo trees are colorful and beautiful.

The Ming Mausoleum Scenic Area is mainly located in the Ming Mausoleum, including ancillary facilities such as Dajinmen, Sifang City and Shinto, as well as surrounding attractions such as Xiamafang, Meihua Valley, Meihua Mountain, Mingdong Mausoleum and Xiazihu.

Introduction of some scenic spots in the Ming Tombs Scenic Area:

Shi Xiang Road: Shi Xiang Road is the first section of the Shinto of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, with a total length of 615m, and six kinds of stone beasts are arranged in sequence along the way. These stone beasts are carved with a whole boulder by circular carving, which not only marks the sublimity, sacredness and brilliance of the mausoleum, but also plays a symbolic role in defense, exorcism and etiquette.

Military and civilian square gate: The military and civilian square gate is the first gate of the Ming Mausoleum. Under the east wall of the main entrance, there is a "special message" tablet written by one party in Japan, Germany, Italy, Britain, France and Russia, which was erected by local officials in the year of Xuantongyuan in Qing Dynasty (1909).
