Tone of Anyang dialect

There is only Han Xin in Jinyu District of Henan Province, including Anyang City, Anyang County, Linzhou City, Hebi City, Qixian County, Xinxiang City, huixian city City, Weihui City, Jiaozuo City, Huojia County, Xiuwu County, Wuzhi County, Qinyang County and Jiyuan City, which are close to Taihang Mountain.

The most obvious feature of the dialects in this area and the Central Plains Mandarin dialect is that they retain the entering tone of the Middle Ages. Generally, there are five tones: the words representing the numerical tone value correspond to the Middle Ages 1 flat tone of 34,000; the third, the Ben and Tian Ping tones are 2 flat tones of 42; the peach, the talent and the wall are 3; the sound is 45; the five, nine, the rice and the sound are above 4; and the sound is 2/kloc-.

It's a mouthful, and its notable feature is that it doesn't distinguish between ZZH, CCH and Song Seung Heon.

Generally, the entering tone ends with a guttural vowel. For example, in Anyang dialect, "one" is pronounced as [j], "ten" as [s] and "eight" as boh[po? ] and so on.

Many words in Anyang dialect are similar in pronunciation to southern dialects such as Wu dialect and Cantonese, such as the numerals "one", "seven", "eight", "ten", "lost", "lacquer", "tied", "north" and "black". The tone of voice is short, so sometimes Anyang people will be mistaken for southerners when they speak Mandarin.
