Who is Gong?

It is said that he is the Zhenwu Emperor, the first of his four Arctic saints. Zhenwu Emperor, also known as the demon god, is the bane of all monsters in the world. With such a great god guarding here, Beitianmen can be said to be the most unbreakable of the four gates of heaven, but Zhenwu Emperor has a high status and is busy with official business, so he won't personally guard the door, but when it comes to Beitianmen, he should still have the final say.

Some people in Xitianmen say that the boss of Xitianmen is Tathagata, which is obviously nonsense, because Tathagata is the master of western Buddhism and the Buddha. How can he be the gatekeeper of Taoist heaven? Moreover, Tathagata belongs to Buddhism and Heaven belongs to Taoism. There are obvious differences between them, even different sects. In fact, Wukong set up a somersault cloud and went to the west gate. At that time, the boss guarding the west gate was to protect the king, which is called holding the king. He personally came out to see Wukong and asked. Therefore, as long as he is a Taoist heavenly king, he can guard the West Gate, and he does not need a Buddhist Tathagata to guard it. Moreover, in Xitianmen, Emperor Gou Chen lived in the palace and was also the God of Heaven in Taoism.

East Gate East Gate leads directly to Miao Yan Palace, where Emperor Tsinghua of Dongji lived. The Emperor of Heaven also has a name called Taiyi Salvation Buddha. The eldest brother guarding the East Gate for him should be his Sheng Yuan in Jiuling Mountain, that is, the Nine Lions Spirit who swallowed Wukong and Friar Sand in The Journey to the West. It is a very powerful old monster.
