Taoist Wei Zi Heart Sutra

There are great differences between Taoism and Buddhism in belief system and practice mode, so they attach different importance to Heart Sutra.

Taoism pays attention to inner cultivation, emphasizing self-cultivation to achieve immortality and enlightenment. Therefore, the Taoist Heart Sutra is often regarded as a way of self-cultivation and self-reflection, rather than a method of guiding practice.

Buddhism, on the other hand, pays attention to external practice and believes that karma can be eliminated, liberation can be achieved and Buddhism can be achieved. Therefore, Buddhist mind is often regarded as a practice method to help believers better understand the true meaning of Buddhism.

In short, because of the differences in practice methods and belief systems between Taoism and Buddhism, they attach different degrees of importance to the Heart Sutra.
