Especially in Guangdong and Hong Kong, almost all shops, police stations, rivers and lakes, and even ordinary families put the statue of Guan Gong in the middle. Before the Ming Dynasty, that position belonged to Jiro.

Jiro has such a folk identity, so there are many legends about his origin, which are rare in the immortal Buddhist world. Please let the old people come one by one.

Qu Yuan wrote a poem and said, "Where can I paint Ying Long when it enters the sea?" This is exactly what he said. The word "er" has a horizontal sound in ancient times, which is close to the word "Nie" and the word "Long" is close to the long sound. There were no words in ancient times, and deeds were all passed down by word of mouth, so people said that "Nie Long" was called "Jiro".

Second, the second son of Li Bing, the hero of water control in ancient Shu. At that time, he helped Li Bing to build Dujiangyan. He contributed the most, broke down from constant overwork and ascended to heaven. Today, the Erlang Temple in Dujiangyan is dedicated to the same god. The statue of Erlang God in the temple was originally a sitting statue with his right foot resting on his left leg, which is the origin of Erlang's legs. In the 1970s, the temple was renovated, and the statue was changed to a standing position, with a shovel (an ancient agricultural tool) in hand, similar to a migrant worker repairing water conservancy. This is a pity for a historical site.

From then on, Jiro became the first god of war in heaven to eliminate violence, protect people and subdue demons. Throughout the land of China, Erlang Temple can be seen everywhere, and there are many floods, which is said to be the god of water control; There are many fires, and they are said to be gods who make fire. Jiro's surname is Yang Mingkun. Someone asked, since he is Li Bing's son, why is his surname Yang? According to the investigation, the original Erlang God was changed from a dragon, and there was no personal prototype. Li Bing's son said that he should have been born in the Li family later. Wanzi has three meanings: one is to cut off; Second, perfection, such as "valley" means perfection; Third, happiness. The word "Yang" originally meant "Yang", but it was later changed because the Chinese surname was not Yang. In my opinion, Jiro has become an omnipotent god of war, so all kinds of people respect him as a protector, ask him to promote good and eliminate evil, and pray for his blessing.

Sixth, finally, it is said that Jiro was originally the second son of Wissam, the most famous king in the north, with a unique name. The child once led the mountain soldiers to save Tang from danger. In foreign Buddhist books, Nezha painted a portrait of a foreigner, which turned into a small gazi with a red Chinese-style chest covering in China, while Pishamenton became the company commander of Chen Tangguan in Shang Dynasty, and later Tota King Li Jing and Li Jing were passed down as Bing. In short, it became Li Bing. Fourth, the talent of the third son is still so high, and the younger brother Jiro is even higher, so there are seventy-two changes, three eyes, looking up at heaven and overlooking hell.

Seven Sisters married Yong Dong, with "Huaiyin old man" as the medium (see fairy tale); Bajie married Bater, a Mongolian hero, and the Queen Mother of the West wanted to destroy it, but this time Jiro helped Bayi, escaped the persecution of the Queen Mother of the West, and lived a free and happy life on the grassland. This Jiro is sometimes a little confused and can't tell right from wrong.

To sum up, Jiro is the first god of war in heaven and a dragon. As long as the people of China are in trouble, he can save them, whether in water or in fire. He occasionally makes mistakes, such as not saving the fatuous Tang; You should not obey the Queen Mother, but destroy the marriage between the three sisters and Liu Shusheng.
