What kinds of garlic are there?

There are seven kinds of garlic: Wenjiang Hongxing, Jiading Garlic, Taicang White Garlic, Lai 'an Garlic and Cangshan Garlic.

1, Wenjiang Red Qixing: a local variety in suburban counties of Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Also known as hard leaf and knife six petals, it is a medium-mature variety with a growing period of about 230 days. Plant height 7 1cm, plant width 15cm, pseudostem length 3 1cm, and diameter 1cm. The number of leaves in the whole plant is 1 1- 12, with the maximum leaf length of 44 cm and the maximum leaf width of 2.5 cm. Garlic is oblate, with a transverse diameter of about 4.5 cm, neat shape, lavender skin and a single head weighing about 25 grams.

2. Jiading Garlic: A famous garlic variety in Jiading County, Shanghai. Jiading County is a garlic production base with a long history and a large export volume in China. Jiading garlic includes two varieties. Jiading 1 garlic, also known as Jiading white garlic. The plant height is 80 cm and the plant width is 30 cm. The pseudostem is 30cm high and1.3cm thick.

3. Taicang white garlic: a local variety in Taicang County, Jiangsu Province, exported to Southeast Asian countries. The plant height is 92 cm and the plant width is 40 cm. The pseudostem is about 40 cm high and 1.3 cm thick. The number of leaves in the whole plant is 12, and the maximum leaf width is 2.8 cm. Garlic is nearly round, with a transverse diameter of 4 cm, neat shape, white skin and a single head weighing about 25 grams.

4. Lai 'an Garlic: The local variety of Lai 'an County, Anhui Province, also known as Lai 'an Garlic, is an excellent variety of local garlic bolting cultivation, and Lai 'an County is also one of the famous garlic bolting producing areas in China. The plant height is about 65438 000 cm, the pseudostem is about 40 cm long and 65438 0.5 cm thick.

5. Cangshan garlic: a local variety in Cangshan County, Shandong Province, is one of the traditional famous dishes in Shandong Province. It is characterized by large garlic, white color, few but large petals, strong flavor, thick garlic juice, thick and long garlic shoots, high yield of garlic shoots and strong adaptability, and is well-known at home and abroad.
