Lagerstroemia indica is suitable for hardwood cutting in spring. Choose healthy branches with relatively long growth time, and the length is about 15cm. Cut the branches into loose and breathable soil, then water them and maintain them in a warm environment until they sprout and take root.

2. Soft cuttings

Select a healthy twig from Lagerstroemia indica mother plant, trim it to 8- 10cm long, leave 2-3 leaves on the twig, cut the twig into prepared soil, then water it, and maintain it in the shade for about 20 days to take root.
