Who is Jiuhua Tianzun?

Tianzun is a Taoist term that refers to the highest-ranking deity used by believers. In the Taoist immortal system, there are only nine great men who can be called Buddha. They are called "Taoist Nine-Buddha". These nine top gods are called Sanqing and Liu Yu, and they are all great figures at the Buddha level.

Taishang Laojun is also called "the moral Buddha of Xuanyuan the Great, the founder of all religions", and the original Buddha is called "the first Buddha to ascend to heaven in Jade Qing's sacred land, Pangu Yuanshi Buddha", while in The Romance of Gods, the Buddha who dares to single out the four saints is also called "the spiritual Buddha of Chen Yu Daowang, and goes to the Muslim world".

Located under the Sanqing, the so-called six royal families, the Jade Emperor is the highest, and his full name is "Great Sage and Kindness in Heaven, Jade Emperor and Great Buddha Xuan the king of world God". So in the Journey to the West, you can see the Monkey King and all the immortals. Sometimes you call the Jade Emperor Your Majesty, and sometimes you call him "the Great Buddha".

Further down, there are other five emperors of the six royal families. The first one is Emperor Tsinghua of the East Pole, who is in charge of the East Heaven, also known as Taiyi to save the suffering Buddha, and another one is called "Seeking Sound to Save the Suffering Buddha". He is the owner of the Nine Lions, the first demon on the Westward Journey. The second is the Great Immortal Emperor of Antarctica, who is called "the immortal emperor lives forever, the god of heaven". In addition, he also has a very famous incarnation, that is, he is in charge of the "Nine Days Yingyuan Thunder Popularizing Buddha".

The other three of the six emperors were the Western Emperor Gou Chen who went to the palace, the Prince of the Middle Heaven and the Prince of the North, and the Emperor Chengtian who took Germany as an example. Although these three emperors have no clear title of "Tianzun", there is no doubt that they are all regarded as "Tianzun" level powers by Taoist believers. In addition to the above nine gods, there is also a famous god who is honored as the deity, that is, Zhenwu the Great. Although he is not the Six Emperors, he is among the best among the four saints in the Arctic, and he is also known as the Nine-Day Wandering Demon Patriarch because he is responsible for subduing demons. His credibility among the people is extremely high, and believers respectfully call him "You Xian". However, this kind of honorific title is folk and has not been officially certified by Taoism, so Zhenwu Emperor has not been included in the "Nine Taoist Heavenly Gods".
