The college has a strong faculty and outstanding achievements in teaching and scientific research. Faculty 134, including professor 18, associate professor 52 and master tutor 38. Doctoral degree 14 people; Jiangxi provincial famous teacher 1 person, 4 young and middle-aged academic leaders in Jiangxi province. In the past five years, teachers in our college have published more than 30 books and textbooks, published more than 380 papers in international and domestic core journals and provincial journals, and undertaken more than 80 provincial and ministerial projects, including 7 national social science funds (including sub-projects) and more than 20 projects of the State Sports General Administration. Nearly 100 achievements have won provincial and ministerial scientific research awards. In the process of running a school, the Institute of Physical Education always aims at cultivating compound sports professionals, highlights the characteristics and advantages of running a school, and actively explores the training mode of competitive sports talents. In recent years, more than 50 world champions, Asian champions and national champions have emerged, including Li Rongxiang, Yang Wenjun, Jin and Lao Yi.
