When was the oldest star in the world painted?

The oldest star map in the world is the Dunhuang star map. The ancient star map found in Dunhuang manuscripts was drawn in Tang Zhongzong period (705 ~ 7 10).

The drawing method of this star map starts from1February, and it is divided into twelve sections along the yellow-red belt according to the position of the sun in each month. Firstly, draw the stars south of Ziwei Garden by a method similar to Mercator cylindrical projection, and then draw Ziwei Garden on a circular plane projection with parallel centers. According to the circles, black spots and circles drawn by Huang San, draw more than 1350 stars in the whole picture. The Dunhuang star map is now in the British Museum in London.
