Fortune Telling Collection - Ziwei fortune-telling - Wei Zi speaks to the parrot.

Wei Zi speaks to the parrot.

Parrot speaks like others, don't speak your mind in front of him, for fear of revealing your little secret.

Poetry begins with writing about scenery. Its first sentence, "Flowers bloom silently and close the courtyard door", is not only to set off feelings with scenery, but also to see feelings in the scenery. As far as the scenery is concerned, it sets off the bitterness of beauty from the opposite side with the scene of spring flowers in full bloom, thus receiving the artistic effect of "writing sadness with joy" and "taking advantage of its sadness" as Wang Fuzhi said in Poetry Art. As far as seeing love in the scene is concerned, although it is written as "when flowers bloom", it gives people a sense of "silence" in a closed environment, thus this sentence injects sadness into the happy scene and implies the situation and mood of people in the scene. In this way, when the second sentence introduces the scene of the two protagonists, it is only necessary to show a picture of "beautiful women standing side by side in Qiong Xuan", instead of wasting pen and ink to write about their bleak situation and lonely and sad mood in the deep palace.

After reading the first half of the poem, some people may guess that the reason why the poet let two beautiful women stand side by side is probably to let them pour out their grievances. However, after reading, the poet did not let the two heroines speak. What we see from the third poem "Talking about Palace Affairs with Passion" is only the scene we want to talk about without voicing our feelings. More importantly, I didn't find my feelings and what I wanted to say. Some people may speculate that since it is "affectionate" and "speaking freely", it is likely that it will be allowed to spit and speak freely in the end. But after reading the last article and reading the sentence "Parrots dare not speak", I realized that this beautiful painting has always been silent. The people in these two paintings began to speak and finally became speechless, not because their feelings were too subtle to express, nor because things were too secret to say, but because they were afraid to say. Then, the emotion it contains is resentment. It goes without saying that what you want to say is by no means a pleasure.

The poet left more room for imagination. This poem has another meaning. It finally said that the two beautiful women were "afraid to speak" because they were "in front of parrots". And as we all know, although parrots can talk, they can't talk, and there is nothing to be afraid of. This is obviously an excuse. From this excuse, it is natural to realize that behind this beautiful picture composed of Flowers, Qiong Xuan, Beauty and Parrot, there is a horrible world full of snares, and the imperial secretary living in it is not only deprived of youth and happiness, but also deprived of freedom of speech. This unique poem of palace resentment expresses such a major theme and exposes such a human tragedy.
