The first Super Avenue of Stars Competition, which started from June 5438+1October 65438+February, 2007, was co-organized by Huayan International Music, with more than 100 preliminary contestants as the starting point and conducted competitions with different contents. When the first program was launched, women aged 15 to 24 in Taiwan Province Province were the largest audience, but the ratings were not high. After the competition, Huayan Records arranged to release two albums, namely, the Star Alumni Association-Super Avenue of Stars 10 Commemorative Collection and Aixingguang Selected Collection-yesterday, today and tomorrow (later, Xu Wanling joined the chorus of the second album and was also a member of the "Star Gang"). After that, the publicity activities, signing parties and concerts were all named "Star Gang".

Star Gang is the most popular singing group in Taiwan Province Province in 2007, Yahoo! Qimo ranked first among the top ten popular singers in 2007 and was widely loved and supported by the audience. The second competition of Super Avenue of Stars started on July 20th, 2007. The cooperation unit is Universal Music, which also started with 100 selected preliminary contestants. Many competitions are similar to the first one. Because the first session successfully opened the popularity of the Super Avenue of Stars, this session brought together contestants from various backgrounds, and the backgrounds of the contestants were more diverse than the first session, and the proportion of contestants with aboriginal ancestry was higher than the first session. Five of the top ten contestants even have indigenous ancestry. Another feature is that there are only two boys in the top ten, and the other eight are girls.

Since the second competition produced the top 20 contestants, the program host, judges, media and the outside public have called the contestants "Starlight Class Two".

Since then, in various media reports, "Starlight Class Two" refers to the top ten players in the second competition. The digital album (annual edition) of Starlight Classroom 2 was released in June165438+1October 65438+July 2007.
