Several Common Mistakes in Buddhist Practice (2)

Some people think that since Buddhism says that everything is empty, everything should not be persistent and everything should be put down, then nothing should be done. See Buddhism as negative. No! Buddhism is positive, doing nothing and doing nothing. The so-called empty man is to empty your false heart, your greed and your selfishness. People in our world are obsessed with delusion without knowing it. Greed and anger come from delusion. No wisdom is called delusion. Because without wisdom, we don't know what is true and what is false. Often, we recognize the truth and treat falsehood as truth, just like a dark cloud covering the sun and the light, so we are insatiable, chasing the outside world, earning returns and suffering from the cycle of life and death for no reason. What's more, they run amok and create all kinds of black businesses such as murder, theft and prostitution, and feel the consequences of hell, hungry ghosts and animals. Buddhism can free us from the sea of life and death and make us feel at ease. We should practice according to the truth guided by Buddhist scriptures, get rid of our own idiocy, idiocy, and restore our original sincerity of immortality, impurity and increase and decrease. What is true? In fact, what is fake is true. Because of truth, there will be falsehood if there is truth. If it's not true, how can it be false? For example, there must be water, and when the wind blows, it will make waves. If there is no water and the wind blows, where will the waves start? This is really not anywhere else, it is misplaced! Truth and falsehood are the same thing, just as waves are still water. Therefore, as long as you don't look at it, the illusion will become real. Because we don't know the truth, we are covered with delusion and keep moving forward. Once you wake up with one heart and rest crazy, it is Bodhi. There is nothing in my heart. Since there is nothing, what is the difference between true and false? Just because we cling to the law and think that there are all kinds of things in the world, we can distinguish good from bad, true from false. If you know that everything is empty, just like an empty flower, it is not real, you can't take it away, and you can't give it up completely. You can recommend your sincerity at the place of departure and then go home, so there is no longer a difference between true and false. Therefore, truth is only a temporary relative right, so don't think it must be true. This is not true. What's wrong? Many people are confused about this truth in Buddhist scriptures. Master Xuansha lived under the great virtue. He wrote a poem:' People who learn Taoism don't know the truth, just because they don't know God, and there is no beginning to rob life and death. Idiots are called themselves. When this son came out, everyone panicked. Knowing God is what we call the soul, which is false and illusory. If it's true, it's true and motionless. So we can't take knowing God as truth. You must distinguish clearly. If you make a mistake, you can't live. As a result, everyone had an argument. What's the difference between knowing God and being true? Most people are afraid to ask at this point. Truth is far from knowing God. Truth, like Buddha, is immortal. Know whether God is false, alive or dead. How do they compare? Seriously, knowing God is truth, and truth is knowledge. As I said before, water is a wave. When it is blown by the wind or stirred by something, it becomes a wave, and the wave itself is water. How can waves rise without water? Without water, there would be no waves. This wave, like knowing God, moves, and goes out for a while, with birth and death, taking movement as the phase. For example, water, like Buddha, is always calm, motionless and static. The two seem to be two different things, but they are actually the same thing, because they are both wet. Now that we know the Buddha's nature and know God, sincerity and modesty, why not use it everywhere without knowing God and modesty? What's the use if we sit there motionless like clay sculptures and wood carvings? This is uncomfortable to use! Our ultimate goal is to become a carefree living Buddha and make endless use of all beings instead of dying there. What is the value of Buddhism if it can't be used at all? Therefore, practitioners should not mistakenly think that it is good to sit still. Some people say that this man is really good at kung fu. He sat for seven days and seven nights, ten days and ten nights, or years, decades, hundreds of years ... This is not a real Buddhism, but a dead wood meditation, turning into earth, wood, gold and stone. There are twelve kinds of students in the Shurangama Sutra, one of which is earth and stone, such as mud, wood, stone and metal deposits. This is why I went astray when I was practicing the law. Therefore, monasticism must first be based on the ground, because the ground is not straight and the fruit is tortuous. When you start to study hard, you should avoid suppressing your thoughts and not force them. Don't think that you can't afford it if you don't live. When it is crushed to stone, it changes from sentient to heartless. It should be noted that the so-called "one mind is not born" does not mean that there is no idea at all, but that if you don't follow it, you will be born and not born. The Diamond Sutra says,' If you live without a fixed place, you should be born.' Give birth to a heart that has no place to live, a delicate and lively heart, and a heart that never leaves. It's not that I don't care If you have no heart, how can you use it? It's useless. How can there be a world now? Where is the pure land of Buddhism? For example, the solemn and beautiful realm of the western paradise described in the Amitabha Sutra is also revealed by Amitabha's sincerity. It's not that the Buddha doesn't care. Therefore, we can't say that everything is positive definite, that's not positive definite, that's wrong. The real Buddhism is positive, so we should make good use of it. The truth in Buddhist scriptures is very correct. It is the truth of life universe, science and philosophy of life. They all teach us to be positive, not to be evil, how to be a man, how to be a man and so on. All these have a positive effect on the development of today's society. The so-called' Buddhism is in the world and inseparable from the world. Looking for bodhi after death is like looking for rabbit horn. "That is to say, Buddhism is inseparable from secular law, and secular law is also Buddhism. Therefore, practice is not divorced from reality, but practice mind and do mental work in the world. How can you become a Buddha if the world law is impassable and the practice is not harmonious? Therefore, to cultivate Buddhism, we must first understand the truth of being a man. If you can't understand the truth of being a man and have insufficient personality, how can you become a Buddha? So Buddhism is not negative. Mahayana Buddhism is positive and inaction, and everything that can be done is illusory. The Diamond Sutra says:' Everything is like a dream, like dew, like electricity, so look at it this way.' Since they are all dreams, what do you pursue persistently? Nowadays, most people in the world are insatiable, striving for power and position, fame and profit, endless demand, endless possession, and even unscrupulous means to achieve private goals. In fact, if you struggle for this and that all your life, you won't end up empty-handed and take nothing away. On the contrary, he was rewarded for his karma and suffered in the six divisions of the wheel of karma. Some Buddhists don't know the true meaning of Buddhism, but they burn incense and worship Buddha and ask others for blessing. Pray for Buddha and Bodhisattva to bless his promotion, wealth, health and longevity, to protect him from disasters, to protect his children's safety, and so on. They even smeared feudal superstitions, divination, magic and witchcraft on Buddhism, which defiled Buddhism. The real Buddhism is no self! Change people's selfishness of "doing it for me", serve all sentient beings by contributing their own abilities, seek welfare for the public, and do more beneficial good deeds for mankind. Buddhism teaches us to do everything with an empty heart and follow the fate. When dealing with people, talking and doing things, and dealing with problems, we must be indifferent, not personal, just like others are doing it. After things have been done, things have changed and my heart is empty. Nothing, like a bird falling from the sky without a trace. But we can't forget to die there like a stone. Doing things so freely is the true meaning of Buddhism doing nothing and doing everything. In the history of Buddhism at home and abroad, some ancient virtues were scientists, doctors, writers, philosophers and so on. Buddhism is profound and profound, which not only expounds the truth of cosmic life, but also stresses' medical skills' and' skillful work'. A clear medical prescription means that drugs are developed to improve our human health. Smart work means that the development of science and technology is to improve people's living standards. Therefore, Buddhism has a positive effect on the development of human society, science and technology, the improvement of human living standards and the improvement of human quality. Because of this, people of insight in Europe, America, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and other developed countries are aware of this and seek answers to various thorny problems in current society in Buddhism and traditional oriental culture. So Buddhism is not negative, but positive.
