" Emperor Taizong asked again, "What about killing all the suspects?" Li replied, "People can't disobey their destiny. Kings don't die, but many people kill innocent people. Moreover, in the past 30 years, he has been old, and he has a lot of kindness, whether it is disaster or shallowness. Today, if you kill them by making them, those who are strong or healthy will resent their toxins and fear your offspring. " After this secret meeting, Emperor Taizong did not put the idea of "killing without forgiveness" into action, but his superstition about rumors and astronomical phenomena increased. He paid special attention to the replacement of the Tang Dynasty by Wu Zetian, which became a big worry, and also laid the groundwork for Li Junxian's slanderous injustice in the future.
