The Historical Significance of Jin Kaiyuan

Comparing with Kaiyuan Bao Tong, we can see that Jin Kaiyuan Bao Tong and Yin Kaiyuan Bao Tong imitated the early Kaiyuan Bao Tong, that is, from the Wu Zetian period in Tang Gaozong to the Kaiyuan period in Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty. According to documents, divination and games related to gold, silver and money were very popular in the court of the Tang Dynasty during the Xuanzong period. The cultural relics hoarded in hejia village belong to the palace. Therefore, these gold, silver and kaiyuan Bao Tong are probably relics of Xuanzong dynasty.
