What are the characteristics of literature in Tubo period?

As early as the Songzan Gambu period, Tubo created Tibetan characters, and Tubo Sambuza was its creator. Tibetan is a syllable phoneme character, which is divided into the combination of basic words and additional words (pre-addition, pre-addition, post-addition and post-addition), and vowel symbols are added to form syllables, and syllables are single or connected to form words. Ancient Tibetan literature is rich, among which religious literature is mostly included in the Tibetan tripitaka "Danjul", and Notes on the Kingdom of Khotan is one of them. New religious documents, such as Notes on the Teaching Method of Khotan, have been added to the unearthed script, and a large number of secular documents have been found, including the historical documents of Tubo in Dunhuang and the notes of several northern kings. For example, the Tang-Fan Alliance Monument, English Dazalugong Stone Carving, Xierakang Monument, Chidesongzan Tombstone, Sangna Temple Clock, Changzhu Temple Clock, Gajiong Temple Monument, and so on. It's an inexhaustible cultural treasure house.

From 20 10 to 20 12, three early stone carvings were found in shiqu county, Ganzi Prefecture, two of which were located in Shenshan, Xuba, Ganma Township, Changsha City and Yanjiao Village, Yalong River Valley in eastern shiqu county, and the other was located in Luo Xu Town, Jinsha River Valley in western shiqu county. These stone carvings are rich in themes, such as Five Dhyani Buddhas, Tathagata, Bodhisattva, Tara, and ancient Tibetan inscriptions, which are basically popular themes during the Tubo period.

June 20 13, Sichuan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, together with experts from Beijing Palace Museum, China Tibetology Research Center and Shaanxi Institute of Archaeology, rushed to Shiqu to recheck the newly discovered stone carvings in the Tubo period, and identified their themes, ages and values. Experts confirmed that these three stone carvings belong to the Tubo period. Among them, the ancient Tibetan inscriptions of Xuba Shenshan Stone Carving Group indicate that this stone carving was carved during the Chisong Dêzain period of Tubo Zampa, that is, from the end of the 8th century to the beginning of the 9th century.
