There are five main schools originating from Taoism. What factions are they?

Taoism is a religion centered on Taoism. In the long historical development, it has been divided into many factions, the most important of which are five factions, namely, Zhengyi, Zhenda, Quanzhen, Taiyi and Jingming.

Zheng Yi was originally named Wu Dao, and later called Dao. At the beginning, as long as you pay five dou meters, you can learn from the teacher, so it is called Wu Dao. Created by Zhang Daoling in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhang Daoling later called Zhang Tianshi. Many places had his fairy tales in those days. Later, he established Shitianfu in Longhu Mountain, which was handed down from generation to generation. Justice is a combination of major schools in Fu You in history and a great achievement of Fu You School. Zheng Yi's precepts are not very strict. They can eat meat, but they can't eat cows, geese, turtles and mullet.

True Taoism The founder of true Taoism is Liu Deren, and his name is Wu Youzi. It is said that at the age of 20, he said that under the guidance of an old gentleman, he founded Shinto, until the Yuan Dynasty gradually declined and finally merged into Quanzhen religion.

The founder of Quanzhen Daoism is Wang Zhongyang, who mainly practices inner alchemy. Quanzhen Road has many commandments. A man of practice cannot eat meat, drink wine or get married. Quanzhen Taoist priests must practice meditation in Taoist temples, so there is no difference between people who practice in Quanzhen Taoism and those who become monks.

The founder of Taiyi Yitai is Xiao Baozhen, and Taiyi Yitai is very famous. Taiyi is somewhat similar to Shi Tiandao, both of which are based on Laozi. Taiyi Road developed to Yuan Dynasty, gradually declined and finally disappeared.

Jing Ming Dow Jing Ming Dow rose in Shaoxing, Emperor Gaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty, also known as Jingming, Loyalty and Filial Piety. Until the Yuan Dynasty, Liu Yuqing sorted out the Jingmingdao and formally established the Jingmingdao with Fu Yong as the main part. Jingmingdao had a certain influence in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, and then it gradually declined.
