Brief introduction of Yang Wanli's life

Biography: Yang Wanli (112710/October 29th-1June 2006 15), whose real name is Tingxiu, is Cheng Zhai. Jiangyou people of Han nationality. Jishui, Jizhou (now Tang Qiu Village, huangqiao town, Jishui County, Jiangxi Province). Minister of Southern Song Dynasty, famous writer and patriotic poet, together with Lu You, You Mao and Fan Chengda, are called "Four Poets of Southern Song Dynasty" (also known as "Four Poets of Zhongxing"). Scholars call Song Guangzong "Mr. Chengzhai" because he wrote the word "Chengzhai" for himself. In the 24th year of Shaoxing (1 154), Yang Wanli was a scholar, and served in the four dynasties of Gaozong, Xiaozong, Guangzong and Ningzong. He is a doctor in Guo Zi, a prisoner in Guangdong, an attendant of the prince, a secretary and so on. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mo Bao Pavilion and was appointed as the founding county magistrate of Luling County. In the second year of Jubilee (1206), Yang Wanli died of illness at the age of 80. Dr. Huo Guanglu, posthumous title "Wen Jie".

Achievements: Yang Wanli is a patriot and a politician. He advocated the war of resistance and opposed kneeling for peace. In many "books", "strategies" and "miscellaneous things" written by the emperor, he lamented Chen Jiazhi's illness many times and tried his best to avoid the mistake of surrender. His patriotism was beyond words. In the face of the ruin of the Central Plains and the fact that only half of the country is left, he pointed out: "As a country of the world, you must not forget your enemies, and the worries of the world are even worse!"

Personal Works: Yang Wanli devoted himself to writing all his life. According to legend, there are more than 20,000 poems and 4,200 existing poems, with a total volume of 133, which is called Cheng Zhai Ji (including ten kinds of poems and essays of various styles). Yang Wenjie's poetry has forty-two volumes. There is also a book, Zhai Cheng Shi Hua, which is not devoted to poetry, but also has some literary theories. His poems are famous for Wuxi Fu and Hai Fu. There are only 15 poems written today, which are fresh and interesting, quite similar to his poems.
