Read "Fireflies in Naples"

The name Naples seems familiar, so I bought this book "Fireflies in Naples". The cover doesn't have much aesthetic feeling, and two advertisements are made conspicuously, which is very uncomfortable to look at.

In the book, I saw foreign superstitions, astrologers and people who arranged their lives according to divination. I saw the gloomy side of Italy, the underworld seemed to be rampant, and I also saw the poor people's canteens. Parents don't want their son to marry a black man, but there is nothing they can do, and they still love their half-blood grandson. Some people pursue sexual stimulation, betray their lovers and play abnormal sex scenes with others, and almost die ... Some bureaucrats are extremely inefficient and irresponsible. ...

People are ordinary people, all have their own different lives, different lives, the gap between the two generations, the collision of ideas and the same existence.

After reading it, I feel that the gap between myself and society is getting bigger and bigger, and I am afraid of the future society. I don't know how to face it. Is my mind solidified at this age? Timid?
