Where are the tombs of Zhou Wenwang and Zhou Wuwang in Zhouling?

Zhouling usually refers to Zhou Wenwang's tomb and Zhou Wuwang's tomb. Duke Zhou is a saint, and his tomb can also be included. Zhou Chengwang dared not take the Duke of Zhou as his minister and died, so he was buried close to Wenwu. So where is Zhou Ling?

I have been to Zhouling Village, Zhouling Township, Weicheng District, Xianyang City. They are located in the south and north directions, with a distance of 100 m, with Zhou Wenwang Mausoleum in the south and Zhou Wuwang Mausoleum in the north, both of which have monuments erected for them by Bi Yuan. Bi Yuan, a native of Taicang, Jiangsu Province, was employed in the imperial examination in the Qing Dynasty and was favored by Qianlong. In the thirty-eighth year of Qianlong, that is, 1773, he served as the governor of Shaanxi. Once an official, in addition to handling official business, he also traveled all over Sanqin mountains and rivers, surveyed places of interest, collected epigraphy and wrote books. He is not arty, on the contrary, he really likes learning, has studied many classics and historical philosophers, and finally has works. There are dozens of Mausoleums in Shaanxi, all of which have his happy monuments. In the past, ministers who guarded the land were often shoulder to shoulder, but few of them could leave their names. Those immortal singers can also be remembered for their contributions, but their contributions must be long-term achievements such as building roads and bridges or building water conservancy projects, and short-term benefits are unacceptable. Bi Yuan is a man who respects and maintains cultural heritage. He is quite noble. Unfortunately, he made a mistake in erecting monuments to Zhou Wenwang and Zhou Wuwang.

There is a reason for Bi Yuan's mistake. For a long time, local chronicles, unofficial history or other works thought that Zhouling was finished. However, there are two things to be done, one is Du Zhong, south of Weihe River, and the other is Qinyuan, north of Weihe River. Bi Yuan obviously gave up Bi Yuan of Du Zhong and chose Bi Yuan. He said: Wang Wenling is located in Qinyuan, north of Xianyang City 15. He also said: Wu Wangling is in the north of Wen Wangling. He added: Duke Zhou's tomb is in the east of King Wen's tomb. This is wrong, and it is wrong, resulting in the township name Zhouling Township and the village name Zhouling Village. The so-called destination of Du Zhong was broken by Sima Qian, and the destination refers to the road to the south. There is an old saying: Bimo is forty miles west of Chang 'an. Poetry says: What is the South End? It is spacious and angular. Ji is the foundation, and the hall is like a hall. King Wen made Feng Yi, Feng Yi in Gaoshuixi, Gao Yi and Gao Yi in Fengshui East, twenty-five miles away. This area is Zhou's headquarters, and it is very suitable to sacrifice ancestors here, so Zhou Ling should be in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, Bi Yuan didn't think so, so he made a mistake, which made several generations feel ridiculous.

According to research, Bi Yuanli's Zhou Wenwang Mausoleum is the tomb of King Qin Huiwen, and Zhou Wuwang Mausoleum is the Qin Wuwang Yongling Mausoleum. In fact, since the Song Dynasty, two Qin Tombs have been mistaken for Zhou Tombs, and ancestral temples have been built as sacrifices. After many repairs and gradual expansion, there are Wang Wen Square, Theatre, Xiandian, Guodian and Houdian. It's grand and looks great. According to the ceremony, since the Ming and Qing dynasties, officials from the imperial court have come to pay homage to the civil and military officials. Bi Yuan once reported to Emperor Qianlong that anyone who saw the emperor's mausoleum must get off the bus and worship him because he passed through the counties of Shaanxi Province on official business. I think he must be going to worship Zhou Ling. Unfortunately, he worshipped the king of Qin, and so did other ministers. Confucius said: Unless it is a ghost, it would be a great honor to offer it. The ministers of Ming and Qing dynasties, including Bi Yuan, obviously didn't mean to flatter the king of Qin, but if they had the spirit, the king of Qin would snicker when he was embarrassed in civil and military affairs.

Zhouling is located in Duzhong and Fenghao, but after repeated exploration and excavation, it has been missing for a long time. Zhouling should be an important cultural heritage in China, but where is it?
