There are different opinions about the starting time of plum blossom boxing. There are clouds in the Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period; There are clouds in Qin and Han dynasties; But there is nothing to test. Textual research can be made on the manuscript of plum blossom boxing "Wen Da Land" circulating in Houmazhuang, Pingxiang. The article records that Plum Blossom Boxing began in the late Southern Song Dynasty, and its founder Zou lived in Zhujiaqiao Village outside the north gate of Xuzhou Prefecture, Jiangsu Province. The secret book "Wen Da Land" records: "Take the way of the Dharma Master and be patient with great heart. When you cultivate your true nature, you will get together and practice in one place. When you leave, you will get a pillar that illuminates the light. If you want to pass on something, you will start to believe it. After four kowtows, you will meet the master and the apprentice. " "The lower bound of Maitreya will be devoted to Buddhism."

On March 3rd, the year of Yuan Shunzong Jiazi, Zhang, a second-generation teacher in Tongshan County, Xuzhou Prefecture, Jiangsu Province, went to the lower bound of Maitreya Qinfo and acted in one furnace. As can be seen from the above records, the first generation ancestor Zhu Yongyuan was born at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, and the second generation ancestor Zhang Zhenshu was changed on March 3rd in the year of Jiazi of Yuanshun (a.d. 1264). Zhu Zushi cultivated truth through patience, became a Buddha and a saint. After the immortal feather, he got a pillar of Xiangming. Plum blossom boxing began to spread among the people. During the reign of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, Zou's martial arts had been perfected and gained great fame. In order to promote plum blossom boxing to the society, he left Xuzhou for Kaizhou (now Puyang, Henan Province), and successively took Cai Guangrui, Wang and Meng Youde as disciples and taught martial arts. After the three learned the art, they passed the boxing and taught the skills in different ways. After receiving Han Huali and Sun Panlong in Kaizhou, Cai Guangrui went north to clear the way and pass the boxing. When passing through Neihuang County, the disciple who accepted Balizhuang was Wu in the year of Emperor Kangxi's Renchen (17 12). After that, I went north and came to Mazhuang Bridge (Houmazhuang) in Pingyi (Pingxiang County), Shunde, and accepted Zhang Fu as a disciple. He taught martial arts in Mazhuang, and later accepted his disciples Li Jinde, Xu Jinde and Zheng Yude. Cai Guangrui ordered Li, Xu and Zheng to go to Henan to meet Zuzou in the first year of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1705). This is the teacher invited by Sande, who is widely praised by Wulin. After Zou was invited to Mazhuang, he settled down and set up a field here to collect disciples, preach boxing and teach art. At one time, he studied under more than 100 disciples. Since then, plum blossom boxing has been widely circulated among the people.

At that time, disciples from Pingxiang, Guangzong, Nanhe, Weixian, Julu, Jize, Quzhou, Yongnian, Shahe and Xingtai all came to Mazhuang to learn from their teachers. In the ninth year of Qing Qianlong (1744), Zou Wenju, the son of Zou, longed for his father, so he led his family to the north to find his father. After many twists and turns, I first stood in the Sanguan Hall of Nanhe, and then went to Guangzong Wei Village. There was no place to stand, and I took root in Mazhuang, Pingxiang (according to the roots). When Zou Wenju's family came to Mazhuang, his father died a few years ago. After paying homage to his father's grave, he settled in Mazhuang, followed in his father's footsteps, devoted himself to boxing, and pushed plum blossom boxing to Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces with Mazhuang as the center. Zou Wenju wrote in the continuation of Zou's genealogy: In his early years, he moved to Mazhuang Bridge in Shili, north of Pingyi, but people knew that Yu had moved from south to north, but they didn't know that Yu had returned to his hometown.

Later, three generations of Zou's grandparents and grandchildren were buried in the future north of Mazhuang Village, which is Zou's tomb. Zou's grandchildren Zou Ke (the boxing method is unknown), Zou Kerang, Zou and Zou Kecheng inherited their grandfather's legacy and taught plum blossom boxing for life. According to Zou Kecheng's inscription, Zou Kecheng is both civil and military, and is famous for his words, which is enough to help the world and strengthen the country. He is famous for his writing, culture and education, and turned Zhouyi into magic. He can know from the past and come from different backgrounds. He has been taught by more than a dozen provinces and is respected by hundreds of millions of people.

He stayed in Hebei, Shandong, Henan and other places for more than three years. When visiting on both sides of the Yellow River, the local plum blossom boxing veteran said: We all beat off the family boxing, and our hometown is Mazhuang Bridge in Pingxiang, Xingtai, Hebei. 1985 in the first month, I finally found the hometown of plum blossom boxing in Houmazhuang, Pingxiang County. 1July, 1993, Zou Tomb was listed as a provincial key cultural relics protection unit by the People's Government of Hebei Province. 1994 Wang Zuwu, Vice Governor of Hebei Province, wrote an inscription for Zou's tomb: Meiquan Holy Land. 1In July, 1997, Hebei Provincial Sports Commission and Hebei Provincial Sports Federation awarded Pingxiang County and Guangzong County the title of hometown of plum blossom boxing in Hebei Province, and then Xingtai plum blossom boxing was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage.
