Where was Xiaotun Village in Anyang, Hunan Province in ancient times? Why is the keel unearthed here?

Little-known Xiaotun Village was originally unknown. In the 25th year of Guangxu reign in the late Qing Dynasty (1899), Wang, an epigraphist who was an official in Beijing, came across this "keel" (a fragment of Oracle Bone Inscriptions), with grotesque lines carved on it, some like human figures and some like beasts, which was very special. He carefully wiped the dirt off the tortoise shell to make it clear. The big keel and the small keel are put together to make two or three turtle pieces. With years of research on ancient Chinese characters, Wang rummaged through all kinds of historical records, and compared the lines on bone fragments, he thought that this was a tortoise fragment used by ancestors for divination, which recorded the oldest writing in China and one of the earliest writing in the world.

Wang Xing rushed to the drugstore, found an antique dealer who supplied the "keel" and asked about the source of the "keel". Fan Chunqing is vague and tight-lipped. Wang couldn't find out the origin of this "keel" and was so nervous that he was at a loss. He pawned all his wife's dowry and bought thousands of dollars with the money he got. "A rising tide lifts all boats", once a "keel" with only a few words per catty, suddenly soared to an "antique" with a word value of "225 yuan". Wang's discovery of Oracle bone inscriptions turned the "keel" from a medicinal material into precious ancient Chinese characters and cultural research materials.

But the true origin of Oracle Bone Inscriptions remains a mystery. Luo Zhenyu is a modern epigraphist, cultural relic collector and educator, who has made great contributions to Oracle Bone Inscriptions. While collecting Oracle bones extensively, he set out to investigate the real origin of Oracle bones. 1908 in the process of tracing back to the source in Luo Zhenyu, a first-hand businessman selling land "goods" forgot the truth because of his profit. Luo Zhenyu was forced to pay a huge sum of money to buy the land of "Keel" from his mouth, which is an important information of Xiaotun Village in Anyang. Since then, Yin Ruins have attracted worldwide attention and caused a sensation at home and abroad. In order to prevent the precious "keel" from being used as medicinal materials by businessmen who "forget profit and righteousness, by hook or by crook". Luo Zhenyu mobilized his younger brother and other relatives and friends to stay in Anyang for many years, collected Oracle Bone Inscriptions and tortoise shells, and personally visited Xiaotun Village. 19 10 year, he determined xiaoyang xiaotun as the site of yin, that is, the capital of yin and Shang dynasties. Moreover, through in-depth research and textual research, as the capital, it once had the history of three generations of capital, and then interpreted the stable and prosperous development history of China Dynasty. After liberation, in 1987, the government built the Yin Ruins Museum in Anyang, and in recent years it has been expanded into the Yin Ruins Museum.
