Which is more important, 3D MAYA or film and television?

Have you heard of any foreign blockbusters made with 3Ds Max? No I don't. Maya's works include: The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Spider-Man, Transformers, Legend of Narnia, King Kong, Golden Compass, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, Shrek, Elf Mouse ... (Of course, it is not necessarily the whole process from modeling to animation, all character scenes use Maya, because the studio has its own software/plug-in), Maya is a movie player.
