300 years ago, the place name of Xibaishui was Xibaishui Village. It belongs to Hail Water Town, Tang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. The village is located 30 miles west of the county seat, on the central and western plains of Baoshui Town, on the alluvial fan at the exit of Tanghe River, and several miles east of the main dam of Xidayang Reservoir. It is adjacent to Dongshui Village in the east and Nanbaoshui Village in the southeast. In the south of the village, there is a Tanghe River, which runs west through Fengshan Villa for several miles. It is the Xidayang Reservoir, one of the four major reservoirs in Hebei Province. An asphalt road along the north edge of the village leads to the northwest reservoir management office of the village, and the irrigation canal of the Xidayang Reservoir is on the north side of the asphalt road. The village is about 5 miles wide from east to west and 1 mile long from north to south. Xibaoshui village plain is widely distributed with fertile soil. Cultivated land is distributed in the north, northwest, west and south of the village. The characteristic cash crop is walnut tree, which is distributed in the north of cultivated land (north of ravine) and south of north slope. The population of the village is growing day by day, and the per capita cultivated land resources are relatively small. Xibaoshui Village is the most populous village in Tang County, with 1300 households and 6,000 people.
