Economic Situation of Turbid Water Stream The metropolis where Turbid Water Stream flows was originally named "Wuxi". There are many streams and beaches on the east side of the predicament, and black gravel is often washed down after heavy rain, hence the name Wuxi. This town is also one of the earliest developed areas in central Taiwan Province Province. This used to be the settlement of Pingpu nationality. Zhuoshuixi, a natural resource, produces a precious snail stone, which is colorful, including black, dark ochre, cyan, dark green and fiery red, among which dark ochre (commonly known as pig liver color) is the rarest. This kind of stone originated from the upper reaches of the turbid water stream and was brought into the riverbed of Dongluoxi and Xiluoxi due to the scouring of the stream. More than 80 years ago, the villagers found these beautiful stones in Dongluoxi, and they took them back for processing and made them into inkstones. This is the famous "Luoxi inkstone". Tourism resources confluence landscape Zhuozhang River has accepted tributaries such as Wanda River, Dandaxi River, Jundaxi River, Chen Youlan River and Qingshui River along the way. Because the river carries a lot of sediment, it is gray-black for many years, so it is named turbid water stream. In fact, these muddy rivers used to come mainly from Wanda Creek and Danda Creek. Later, due to the construction of the dam in Wandaxi, except in the flood season, they all settled and clarified, so at present, only the river water in Wandaxi is turbid, and the rivers in other tributaries are clear. On the Shen Long Bridge where the Chen Youlan River meets the turbid water stream, you can see the interesting sight of the confluence of turbid water. The landscape along the river crosses the turbid water stream from Shen Long Bridge to the south to the source of Chen Youlan River. In front of us is a typical mountain landscape: the majestic Yushan Mountain in the east and the majestic Alishan Mountain in the west. The deep valley in the middle is basically straight because it develops along the cliff layer.
