Where did the Book of Changes come from?
The Book of Changes was called Zhouyi or Yi in ancient times. The word "Yi" evolved from the hieroglyphics of lizards (meaning change); There are two kinds of meanings represented by Zhouyi, one is to explain "the change of the vast universe" and the other is "the Book of Changes in the Zhou Dynasty". The word Yijing appeared only after the Song Dynasty.
In the Book of Changes, everything is divided into sixty-four different forms, and then the location of the soothsayer is taken as the center, indicating the direction, thus prompting people to explore their own destiny, including the interpretation of the scriptures of the sixty-four hexagrams and the ten wings (supplementing the ten articles in the Book of Changes), and the most important part of the ten wings is the interpretation of the Book of Changes.
Biography of philosophical copula.
The basic philosophy of the Book of Changes is Yin and Yang. Yin represents women, obedient and negative; Otherwise, it represents a man, strong and positive. Yin and Yang are divided into eight types, namely, dry, intercourse, separation, shock, fumigation, depression, root and Kun, which are called eight diagrams. Match these eight hexagrams, and you get the square of eight, which is equal to sixty-four hexagrams.
The prototype of the Book of Changes is supposed to have been completed from the end of the Western Zhou Dynasty to the beginning of the Spring and Autumn Period (the eighth century BC).
Yin substitutes burning tortoise shells or animal bones, and then observing cracks to divine, which is called tortoise divination. In the Zhou Dynasty, yarrow was popular for divination, which was called divination. The results of divination are properly kept by the court. Then, from the accumulated divination characters, select the appropriate ones that conform to each divination and add them to the compilation, which becomes the embryonic form of the Book of Changes.
After the prototype of the Book of Changes was completed, divination was no longer monopolized by the imperial court, but spread to governors and literati everywhere. Since then, divination ceremonies have prevailed on various occasions.
After divination became popular, there was an urgent need for a special book to explain it. Because the words in the Book of Changes are difficult to understand, there must be a unified explanation so that the meaning will not be different. Thus, from the end of the Warring States period to the beginning of the Han Dynasty, ten wings (up and down biography, up and down biography, up and down biography, classical Chinese biography, divination biography, virtual divination biography and miscellaneous divination biography) were gradually made, thus completing the philosophy of the Book of Changes.
Later, Confucianism was regarded as the orthodox scholarship of the country, and The Book of Changes was regarded as a Confucian classic, ranking first among the six classics (The Book of Changes, Poetry, Books, Rites, East, Spring and Autumn) and becoming the traditional academic source of China. Then, due to the rise of Neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty, the Book of Changes was regarded as the mainstream of metaphysics and was highly valued.
However, according to legend, the Eight Diagrams were written by Fu, the sixty-four hexagrams were written by Shennong, the hexagrams were written by Zhou Wenwang and Duke Zhou, and the Ten Wings were written by Confucius.

The Book of Changes, also known as the Book of Changes, is annotated by the Book of Changes, which is used by gentlemen but not by villains. This book is easy, simple and difficult. If you don't know enough, without the guidance of a master, of course you can't understand. In fact, the ultimate goal of the four books, the Book of Changes, Buddhist scriptures and so on is to show the truth to the world. It's just that law is different from Tao, so all laws are unified. It is a waste of the efforts of the sages to regard the Book of Changes as a book of fortune telling and divination.
The Book of Changes is a successful oriental study, which reveals a person's growing experience from just entering the society to governing a big country. Gankun divination is an introductory divination, which reveals the development process of things and the corresponding thinking and strategic deployment; Gigi didn't help sort out the introductory hexagrams, which were aimed at practitioners and theorists. The sixty hexagrams in the middle were development experiences.
