Confucius said, "Add me a few years old, and I will learn the Book of Changes at the age of 50, so it won't matter." (The Analects of Confucius) Sima Qian's Historical Records Confucius Family also said: "Confucius likes the Book of Changes late, with different orders, making, imaging, divination and classical Chinese. Reading "Yi", Wei compiled three musts. " "Bian Wei's Three Musts" means that the rope tied to the edge of bamboo slips has been broken many times, which shows that he is diligent. Confucius' contribution to the Book of Changes is that he began to write the Book of Changes. This part of the work should be completed with the cooperation of future disciples.

Yi Zhuan, also known as "Ten Wings", has ten auxiliary interpretations, including: Zhuan Zhuan (interpretation of hexagrams) and Xiang Zhuan (interpretation of hexagrams is called Zhuan Xiang, and interpretation of hexagrams is called Zhuan Xiang). According to the Book of Changes, these two parts are divided into two parts (the first 30 hexagrams are the upper classics and the last 34 hexagrams are the lower classics), so there are four chapters.

Followed by "Cohesive Biography", because the content is relatively long, it is also divided up and down. Then there are classical Chinese biographies (only the two hexagrams of Gankun), eight diagrams biographies (like a small dictionary, introducing various symbols of basic eight diagrams), preface hexagrams biographies (explaining the arrangement order of sixty-four hexagrams) and miscellaneous hexagrams biographies (briefly summarizing the uses of hexagrams, which can be regarded as an appendix).

Since the Han Dynasty, people who study the Book of Changes have read it together with the classics, so today's so-called Book of Changes includes the Book of Changes. There is also the word "easy to learn", which is all-encompassing. It is the result that scholars have applied the Book of Changes to astronomy, geography, medicine, art of war, health care and other fields since the Han Dynasty. As for the part related to divination, it is more colorful.

To put it simply, the Book of Changes has two systems: one is "righteousness", that is, observing the changes of natural phenomena and understanding the truth of being a man. At this time, the emphasis is on morality, ability and wisdom. The other is "image number", which relies on the combination of divinatory symbols and numbers to get an answer to a difficult thing through a specific operation program. In other words, the number of images means divination, which can really predict the consequences of a choice. However, the phrase "divination is easier than interpretation" just reminds us that rational thinking is still the bright road of life. Learning the Book of Changes cannot rely on mysterious intuition, but requires long-term and serious study.
